omg leafpool's whole deal makes me so sad. it seemed unfair to me how she was always blamed for a half-clan relationship she had like ages ago, and how starclan for some reason PUT HER ON TRIAL as if she deserved it.

I love you illustrated Leafpool's grief and frustration in this! I rarely ever see Leafpool pmvs that focus on how quick her life changed because of a choice she made when she was young. The death berries scene was done in such a way where (similar to the books) she actually smiles when she tells Hollyleaf that death would be easier than living through her clanmates' hate. Very beautiful!

OH MY GOODNESS!! I had seen content of Daisy and Cinderpelt on your tumblr before and I’m so excited to see more about it in an animatic! Cinderpelt’s death is something so dark and sad to me. She knew she was going to die and lived with that fear everyday. And still somehow remained strong until the end. Older Daisy at the end is very sweet. She can’t wait to see her fluffy gf in cat heaven ❤

i don't think anyone will but jumping in with an important note in case anybody is weird about it- cinderpelt and cinderheart are different people, mostly in canon and definitely entirely here. i'm not intending to imply here that daisy has any romantic feelings for cinderheart whatsoever- she reminds her of cinderpelt (as well as of her younger self) but there is net zero romantic carryover. ok that's all thank u

I have went back to watch this video over and over again multiple times, I simply can’t get it out of my mind. It’s excellent. The song choice, colors, character designs (I LOVE THE CONTRAST BETWEEN CROWFEATHER AND BIG FLUFFY NIGHTCLOUD, despite the fact that they’re both black windclan cats!!) and storytelling is just perfect. I have always had this underlying feeling of worry for Leafpool when reading about her in the books, because her life objectively sounds miserable. Eventually I had to brace myself before I read any scenes from her pov, because it just left me feeling hopeless for her. When you stack everything up, it definitely seems like the writers barely explore how horrible everything must’ve felt. I don’t think the Erins are aware of how unfair everything really must’ve been for her. She gave away everything she had, and recieved nothing but blame for all the things she was told to do. This video explains this perfectly. The writers seem to barely give her any emotions, when realistically, she should be heartbroken, bitter and unsure if she even wants to join Starclan. All the facial expressions convey this perfectly. She just looks hopeless, tired and bitter, you gave her the emotions the writers never gave her.

Everyone is so expressive in this, you can instantly get how all of them are feeling. Really great job

I love that you added the detail of her ear being clipped to show she’s been fixed. A lot of the barn cats I know have that and I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else use that ppl do that in their frostpaw design
