Welcome to our channel. This channel is a place where my son and me can bond. We'll be doing Miniature painting, terrain making, unboxings, toy reviews, toy hunting, video game reviews and just about anything else we can think of.

We here at Newbnerds celebrate the nostalgia of our (my) childhood. Growing up in the 70s and 80s was a magical time that we will never get back. Luckily Jada Toys isdoing the lords work and bringing us some fantastic figures to help fill that nostalgia gap in our hearts.

My review of the G.I. Joe Classified Tiger Force Recondo. Recondo's primary military specialty is infantry and his secondary military specialty is intelligence. He was a Cadre member at the Jungle Warfare Training Center. Recondo hates cold weather, and loves being in the jungle. He is a qualified expert with the M-16, Swedish K, grease gun, M-1911A1 Auto Pistol and M-79 grenade launcher.

I went to Ross the other day and they just had Star Wars, Witcher and some Dragonball figs. Nothing really worth getting. Next time I find some Classified stuff I'll get an extra for you.

Thanks for the mention! Loved the video, you've got some real skill with dry brushing things to make them look like stone. I think the lint is kinda a less is more thing. I've used it mostly as flocking for moss or climbing vines. I loved how the eggshell turned out but I'd be worried about eventual spoiling and smells unless they were cleaned and sanitized somehow. A couple more things to possibly try in the future is using high gloss modpodge instead of matte for wave texture and you can blow through a straw to make it ripple naturally. Also you can get free carpet samples from hardware stores to cut apart for grass clumps.
Yeah I think doing it next time I would definitely use less lint and maybe just glue it down rather than mix it in a medium. Live and learn 😀
I love the use of everyday stuff. You should consider dryer lint. It makes great moss.
Oh great idea. I'm planning on doing another one of these everyday item bases again soon so I'll throw that in.
@@newbnerds9773 I'm looking forward to it. Also there's the whole baking soda and modpodge for snow, modpodge gloss for wet environments instead of resin if you don't want it to be deep so you can't put a mini on it, and using drywall mud and paint for bases (a bit like you used plaster and toilet paper). I've experimented with a lot of stuff if you want any more or photos of examples.
