The self-made goodness of a man… …will cause them to go to hell. Without God, there is no such thing as _good._ Many people work so hard at being “good” to no avail in God’s eyes (Isaiah 64:6). Their righteousness is only for the gain of praise and glory from others when it belongs to God. Jesus himself said “why call *_me good?_* there is _none good but one, that is, _*_God._* Only God, the Father, is good (Mark 10:18). With no fear of God, man idolizes one another in everything they do. They do not realize that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God (Luke 16:15), including singers, movie stars, and the like. In the end, all of it is nothing but death. Repent.

You may have been giving the Word to all people at Crossroads, but that Word was just for! Thank you, bless you. I love all of you

Jesus wants us to believe the works he does come from the Father: In John 10:38, Jesus said “If I *_do not_* the works of my Father, *_believe me not._* But if I do, though *_YE BELIEVE NOT ME,_* believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that *_the Father is in me, and I in him._* Jesus tells us that we must believe that it is God the Father’s power and spirit that does all of the works through Jesus (John 14:10, John 5:36). Whether we believe if Jesus has done the works himself or not, we are to believe that all of the works given to Jesus for him to do were given to him from the Father to finish. Jesus dedicated his own free will to bring all glory to the Father, not himself. Yet people do not believe him, and think he is God. This is why countless are going to hell, for many are called but _few are chosen_ (Matthew 22:14). Most men cry out “Jesus!” and will never utter the Father’s name. They say “turn to Jesus,” but Jesus gave all acknowledgment-his words and actions-to God, the Father. Only those who do God’s will just as Jesus has done will be in God’s kingdom (Matthew 7:21). This is a promise.
