I have both the steel and nylon string versions. I just swapped the original stock nylon strings with D AddaroPRO-ARTE Nylon EJ45 Strings and damn it’s a night and day difference!! I still have to swap out the steel string guitar with better quality strings! My take on this is like when you buy a new car let’s say Toyota, the stock stereo is “Toyota” so it doesn’t sound as good as when you replace it with an Alpine! Why? Toyota makes reliable cars not good stereos, Alpine makes great audio gear not great cars 😉

I am half way through Learn and Master Guitar with Steve Krenz. I tried Fender Play to augment my learning. I found it to be a complete waste of time. It is far too scattered. You may "Learn a Song" if you call learning to place your fingers on second fret third string "learning a song". No written music, no notes no structure and not much in the way of music theory or anything. I completed about 5 levels in two days. I didn't think it was worth it and dropped it.
Guys this video is clearly sponsored (links in description) Fender play is a rehash of already available information that is available for free, also in many cases better than Fender does it
Not true at all I did try the other way guess what I did not learn nothing now with this I can see how much I have learn for $10 I will pay that any day.
The teachers are a little robotic for me. Only was able to have a 14 day trial. Rushed through things to see what's available. Not useful because it takes time just to be able to play even chords A E D to a half decent level. Not convinced enough to pay for it. May try in future though when have moved beyond complete beginner level.
Good to know Fender is coming out with more advanced stuff. One thing with Fender they have the money to expand.
except its not advanced, and all available for free (and better) online dont get me wrong i like Fender but this is a moneygrab
