Day 1, playing without tabs by ear
Impossible to know when to time the intro and lead into the song... Needs some timing cues or something...
Just gotta practice, I got it after a few times

First. Wait 8beat and play intro And Wait 4beat - play guitar After 8beat play all instrumental
kids, don't try this at home...
It took me 10 years to be able to play this song perfectly... I'm literally crying of happiness right now. I'm so happy I might even record it. Thank you for the backing track, it's been really helpful all this time.
Congratulations buddy, I'm in this challenge, if you record it, post in your channel. I would love to hear it. Congrats again
@@gabrvalete thanks man! I'll do it, I'm just polishing some parts. Wish you the best!
@@xavierhernandez6505 so did you record it?
@@spookyspooks7567 hey man! I did, but I wasn't pleased with the quality of the video, so I didn't uploaded it lol. Imma try to re-record it in a better place with better lighting and better sound quality.
@@xavierhernandez6505 that's great! I'm halfway through learning it

It's a little silly to put 30 seconds of silence without the click track, isn't it? How do you expect anyone to play that in proper time?
Once you get the speed nailed down, you wont have any issues. The last click before the silence is your que to hit the open E to start the intro. If you need, download a metronome to your phone and use it with the track.
@@charlesivey8986dude, its unreasonable to expect anyone to play perfectly at tempo for 30 seconds with hardly any cue at all lol. speed isnt the issue, its simply that you have to be PERFECTLY timed for 30 seconds.
@@mrfahrenheit677 Its not unreasonable, I can do it. With practice you can achieve great things
@@z0mbyz624 Okay I want you to post yourself counting to 30 seconds over and over and never get it wrong. Like not even a fraction of a second off. You can't do it, thats completely unreasonable lmao.
@@z0mbyz624 It's also a pointless skill. No musician has to do that. Why would anyone want to spend so long practicing something that only applies to this specific backing track?? So dumb
Tommy Taylor and Kyle Block isn't?
I know you want to keep it original but you could atleast put a drumstick tick to let us know when to start screwing up
the trick is to screw up all the time then you know you're doing it right

ok

Great! Now i only need a couple of years to learn the entire song, Im halfway...Yeah
Thank you very much! Awesome track! ruclips.net/video/QT8uPPYgG_o/видео.html
So, when do i start playing?
Yes
1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4, Open E then solo. If you land right, you'll do the intro chord riff twice before the drum hits on 1
It's insane to me that people are playing this at full speed and killing it. I've only been playing 6 months, and can keep up for a bar or two when I'm warmed up, so I'm not doing horrible, and I'll get there soon, but I'm still dumbfounded at the mastery this takes.
How is it going now? I just finished memorizing the intro.. working on speed at the moment hahaha, not even pretending to move further without mastering speed correctly
How are you both going?
Bro it should take at least probably 5 years, this is pretty advanced lead playing
for me it's intro thats the most difficult, the main riff is quite simple after practicing some hybrid picking.
it took me 18 years of playing to be able to learn this song in a few months. It wasn't the months of practice that were hard, it was the 18 years 🙂
