@@marvinmiraflor1257 no because I was the DJ at the club so it was quiet once I got home.lol. ya know I'm 50 yrs old now and I would love to come back to osan the get a civilian job. Would you happen to know how that could be done?

Yes it changed a lot, the businesses comes and go, although some have stayed strong and survived during the pandemic. Would you go back to Korea again?

I was there 2013 and its been a 7/11, there’s a dollar exchange still right next to 7/11. Songtan Sally wasn’t captured in this video and I didn’t see her when I was there from 2017-2020. The “Flowah Lady” was captured on this video tho. Haha ya definitely busy base but there’s always something to look forward to after work and during the weekends. The camaraderie makes a big difference here especially when you get a chance to go out with our Korean counterpart whether they are civilian or ROKAF.

@@marvinmiraflor1257 well the flower lady is easily like a 100 then, 😂 I was there 35 years ago and she was old then. There used to be a hose bib right outside the main gate to where we provided the town potable water, they were always lined up with containers getting drinking water, their water was like being in Mexico, never drink it. Town certainly has been upgraded, that base is their livelihood though. Do they still you not to cross the railroad tracks ? Buddy of mine got stopped by the knp when I was there, took all his money, watch, even his sneakers but he didn’t get arrested.

@@bluecollarwatches7048 railroad is still there and we can walk there with no issues. They installed cctv everywhere now to reduce their crime rate and it actually works. Oh wow water is still a thing there which I love but not on SED. Malls usually have filtered water where you can get free water using a water cup. You can’t really get thirsty there. You don’t see KNP there anymore, GIs are the ones that control the craziness there now at night. Korea really improve so fast you should visit again. My apartment there was the nicest one I got in my career. It was so high tech, even my fridge got a wifi lol.

Wow the doll shop i remember that. I think the only 7-11 I saw the whole time I was in Korea was in Seoul lol that was 30 + years ago though 😂

Apologize I usually use the base lodging when I am in the area or stay at a friends apartment.

The BX back then was next to the current and still-existing library. Osan 85-89, 90-91. Suwon AB 89-90. Visited the kids and grandson occasionally at Osan after I retired in 96.

I heard those were the good times!

Dude that was party city back then, I hated town patrol they would stop you when you were staggering back to the base ! Good times.

@@bluecollarwatches7048 Yeah, but the Town Patrol always had condoms in their pockets if you needed one.

@@marvinmiraflor1257 I was at Kunsan 79-80. Came up to Osan many times to party with friends that were stationed there.

I was there 14-15 51SFS as well went town patrol while I was there. Bx has not changed a bit.

I don’t remember seeing it, a lot of bar businesses converted to restaurants last year due to covid to keep their business going.

Apologies, I didn’t intentionally do that lol, businesses come and go here. It keeps changing every time I get stationed there. It’s amazing how other businesses there stayed strong and stayed competitive through out the years.

I heard they kicked her out of Songtan. Lol. I heard she is lingering in Itaewon.

@@marvinmiraflor1257 yup, life's getting busier with places opened up & more things to do now that I'm vaccinated. I haven't given up on youtube though. Glad you are still making videos of these awesome sights!

@@aalegalfocus glad to hear that you manage to balance all the things you love. I got my vaccine too but there’s still a lot of restrictions here. US is almost back to normal and has more freedom that we do here. I can’t complain though since this is not a bad place to be in during the pandemic.

Haha salamat! Medjo rusty na tagal ng di naka edit. Basic lang yung paglipad ko nothing too crazy. Pero mas ok talaga kapag golden hour ang pics and vids mo para mas maganda at di harsh ang liwanag sa vids o sa pics. Bili na ng drone!
