Just a women living in Alaska, trying to balance this life we all have, to pursue dreams while dealing with a massive pile of (expected) shit shows. I have 15 sled dogs I tend to alone, which at times comes with gray hair outbursts, but mostly happiness and love. Hunting is my second obsession, eating mostly harvested meat and fish from the great backcountry of Alaska.
Don't know if I'll ever be happy in a mundane routine or ever ready to settle down completely, but let's find out!

Spring in the Arctic
I traveled with my young dog team from February till Mid-May the winter / spring of 2022. My goal was simply to spend time with them and teach them to go from puppyhood to adulthood in a slow and natural manner.

I could not stop smiling while editing this video filmed back in 2020. Fishing with my friend Charlie (from Yukon Men) on the mighty Yukon in his hometown Rampart. We meet Peggy, his mom, that goes by "grandma Peggy" and she's not to be messed with. A strong and fierce woman that has earned a huge amount of respect from me and her community.
