We weren't quite happy with the mount and we'll be making further additions of:
- Binaural Microphones to better emulate the noises the car makes through the engine bay and rear half of the car
- Cap mount to show a more natural eye-level perspective

Installing Mirror Caps & Sequential Strips for the Lexus LC500 (2018-2022)

This video shows you how to install proper carbon fiber mirror caps which replace your OEM ones on a 2018-2022 Lexus LC500 or LC500h. For a car of this calibre, I recommend people take a replacement part rather than using cheap stick-on parts, as the fitment, finish, and overall quality is superior.
I tugged on the mirror corner until it started bending. Didn’t want to pull an harder in fear of breaking them like I did when I installed carbon mirrors on my M3. Any additional tips?

Good job. Caps are nice, the light strips are not though. I recommend you getting 22mm spacers all around, LC’s need that

I ordered the E6 Carbon cf tail light overlays on my LC500, love them. I want to get the mirror caps but they're out of stock.. along with the roof wings..

That carbon piece was deformed. No Bueno. Great vid though.👍

Do these instructions also work for other Lexus models like the IS? The mirror design seems the same/similar.
Yes! Actually, many cars from even other makes have similar disassembly procedures. 😀
Not a fan of the air channels in the carbon cap, it's probably altering the aerodynamics as well.
It doesn't alter the aerodynamics 🙂

Nice video man. I had to do this process twice. Once when I got my sequential about 1.5 years ago and the 2nd time about 1 week ago when I got the exact same CF mirror replacement caps. This will definitely help others who are looking to do the same. 👍
