Davicho has an extremely based taste in tags. Apologies for the late video, was too lazy to make a new episode after returning from a business trip early September. No excuse for the following week though. Hopefully I'll have another video by Monday but I don't want to make a false promise. I didn't have enough space on my hard drive to record the video so i had the genius idea of recording the video to a flash drive. Long story short, the flash drive wasn't up to the task as it was running in USB 2.0 speeds and I was recording the video in 3456x1944 60FPS. I've been wanting to make custom music for MKT before it shuts down. Thankfully I was able to decipher the file structure and apply the music to the game. I think this started to happen to me after the update. It seems to occur on a random basis. Whenever I used my phone's screen capture in an attempt to capture this anomaly, the audio in the screen capture would always be mute. So I used my tablet to record the distorted audio glitch. Playing with a tablet recording in front of you is kind of hard.

Single Card Mode
EDIT: Turns out this is an entire different bug than the one explained below. The bug in this video is actually caused by the game thinking you're not in the checkpoints for a frame. Still, I recommend reading about the NaN coordinate bug below. An excellent thread by PabloMK7, well-known MK7 modder, explains why this bug happens on a Twitter thread. I recommend reading it if you're interested in the technical details of this bug. twitter.com/Pablomf6/status/1683893221527519236 TL;DR: this bug is caused by bad collision data that causes the game to panic during coordinate calculations, setting the XYZ coordinates of the kart to NaN. XYZ NaN is not a valid set of in-bounds coordinates, so the game automatically respawns you near the last set of known in-bounds coordinates. This bug is naturally more reproducible on CTs due to the varying quality of fanmade tracks.

Also, the original Japan only SK Skirting Shadows (the one with only the Hanzo girls’ story) uses an entirely different one, because Marvelous merged with two other companies between Skirting Shadows and Burst, changing from Marvelous Entertainment to Marvelous AQL. I imagine that version was totally gone from the game’s files by the time the game released in English.

One possibility a ghost wanted to play Mario kart 7 with you and when he played as a Cpu he goof arround, obviously that his a joke, because in reality even if they are 7 cpu in totall they actually their his way more then 7 cpu, so for balanceing purpose it might have pick-up a cpu that as not learn yet, he will learn as you play so if that cpu gets pick-up again, he will not do that again, and he will not guarantee to be Wiggler again. If it happen again then it will be a new cpu that as not learn yet, it will not be the same cpu.

Back when I played 8u I played on a small television I got back in December 2012. I still play with that very television to this day when I play MK8DX, and even use it as a second monitor for my PC. There was one point where I played 8u on a monitor, though.

@@SamuelMK_ how did you find games at high vr? I'm at 60k and wanted to slowly go for max vr, but the only way I can find games is by going to the recently played and joining someone, did you have to do the same?
@@starpotatoes768 For a while I could just hit Worldwide and the game would find me a 10k+ room, but later in life I had to use Recent Opponents, since for some reason the Worldwide option would always put me in an empty room.

doesn't mk7 already have 100cc
There's a hack where the host can force certain tracks to be picked. The host (me in the video) happened to set the forced course to a value outside of normal values, so the game defaults to the track "100cc". "100cc" is the name of the bugged track. When picked online, when "100cc" loads, the game loads Mario Circuit, Mario, Standard Kart, and whatever tires you were using previously. All other players will be in Mario, Standard Kart, Standard Tires, and will stay afk for the entire race. You can even go to the HOME Menu in this state, something you can't normally do in online races.

Really late but this strat saves .1 every lap and is humanely possible but the chance of it happening is 1 in a million I think
I imagine if TAS becomes a thing TASers could save even more time by not running into the walls after the superbounce.
