This is what I'd call a RESTOMOD, on a car that actually doesn't need a RESTOMOD, even on modern tyre it should improved driveability performance hugely and the car was already amazing. Imagine like 918 a decade ago that would in race form (not 919 but let's call it 918LM) run LeMans and Daytona in similar form, and Paris-Dakar in rally adjusted version of that same base. Amazing !! And it kinda all was in with that G or "crawling" gear for up to 35mph and 195mph on final 5th (or we could say almost 6th) gear...

I've been in this business all my life as a mechanic and body shop owner. Most builders and most builds are not what i would call 100% simply put, THIS is 100%. If i was just a little younger and a little more ambitious than I am now i would love to actually work at and with someone like this.

excellence as usual. nothing but the most rare or ultimate of cars that have owners they must know there is no other shop like this is literally mind melting to see the rarest of the rare then to have a heritage and history on most of these race cars its just....no words it makes me fumble trying to express the awe. I really really would love someone to get that little transporter van down, isn't this the 3.6tt drivetrain out a car like my brothers '97 993 turbo? im such a fan of that car but I am a weirdo I've fallen in love with the 996 turbo and gt2 of course but that van has got to be awesome. it would be one hell of a treat to see that featured in a video. great tour cant wait til next week cheers.

The Porsche 917 in Gulf livery is THE holy grail of race cars. In this video, I'll bet the temptation to keep pressing on the go pedal and let #9 really stretch it's legs was enormous!

The 959 has been, and may always be, my answer to the question "Which car would you buy if you won the lottery?" I do recognize that in hindsight there are things that could be improved based upon the evolution of the 911 but the 959 is the best looking 911 every made and I would put those improvements into the 959 exterior.

Original Saratoga Rat here. Raced Gravity Bike on Hwy 9 in the 70s and 80s. I recognized the area instantly. Don't miss the Bay Area but I miss 17-skyline 35, Hwy 9. Beautiful roads.. Thanks for the ride.

The fact that I knew folks in the 80's that would pay you to take one of these "Old broken cars" out of their garage to the scrapyard makes my heart cry. I worked in a scrapyard that we lived near by in the rural Chicago suburbs. Just for cash and parts, an schtuff...Id go along on a pickup to Inverness, Barrington hills, or even downtown in a storage place once. And wed be looking at cars I had not the foggiest notion about. All I knew was rich people cold only buy them. And when we took them apart we could NOT SCRATCH ANYTHING..!!!. Thats the owner crying at me. Lol, did my best. But we salvaged so many cars i remember many now when I see them listed. And at sooo much$. I'm like Hey I remember we took apart a car like that's interior UPSIDE DOWN! In the winter, because it was wrecked and the contents of someones cranium were still pooled in the roof/headliner hair, bone, stuff lil tiny things here and there that were of a deceased human. So the boss always made me be serious there and not crack jokes. I understand now why he was somber. A fine Italian car had died!
