Tamiya CC-01 FJ Cruiser (Hardbody) trail at Boomracing's South Scale RC Fest
My old trusty Tamiya CC-01 trailing at a fellow Scale RC enthusiasts beautiful resort in Cavite. Running along with me is a friends custom LC80 Axial based rig.

Short trail with my 15 year old Tamiya CC-01. Now sporting a Nikko Toyota FJ cruiser hardshell with mods done to the wheel arches and a few scale details added. wheels are 1.55 aluminum beadlocks with 1.55 Pitbull Rock beast tires mounted. Motor is a Tamiya 35 turn coupled to a 3:1 gear reduction unit. ESC is an old reliable tekin FXR on 3s.

My Optima Mid Custom's very first time on dirt and on a track. Running a Marwan Bodyshell and decals, Optima Mid re-re shock towers and wing mount, Stock Kyosho Le Mans 240 motor, China made Wheel/Tire combo, Hobbywing 1060 on 2s lipo.

love the patina and detail of your truck, and nice terrain to test drive. Are you using droop shocks? you have that cool close tyre to body look going on 👍🍺🇬🇧
Thanks very much, glad you like it. For the rears I'm just using 70mm shocks, for the fronts, those are axial 90mm reduced to 80mm. You're right, just to keep the body low enough. 🙂

Thanks. Those are Tamiya 1:35 scale US Army Modern Accessories. Roof rack and faux light bar are scratch built.
