This ikebana demostration was presented on March 17, 2019 at the Ikebana International Exhibition at Ayres Hall of the Los Angeles County Arboretum. Ikebana artist Haruko Takeichi celebrates 30 years as a Sogetsu Ikebana Teacher in 2020. In March 2016, she presented an exhibition (including her students) at the George J. Doizaki Gallery, Japanese American Cultural and Community Center (JACCC). Mrs. Takeichi, who is a Riji level teacher with the Sogetsu Teachers Association, is a graduate of the Women’s Fine Art College in Tokyo, and of Woodbury University’s Interior Design program.
