I would change one part of your lecture. I think it's confusing to say that felsic melts are generated during partial melting. What is actually happening is that eutectic melting is occurring at mineralogical intersections, and the composition of the melt that is generated depends on the mineralogical assemblages that are present in the source rock. Partial melting of mantle peridotite does not generate a felsic melt - it generates a mafic melt. You can see this in ternary phase diagrams - the last melt to crystalize is eutectic, and it's also the first to melt.
