Arkansas Off-Road Recovery
США
Добавлен 1 июн 2023
We specialize in off road recoveries in the state of Arkansas. Based out of Russellville, Arkansas we can easily service the Ozark and Ouachita National forests, the River Valley, and surrounding areas.
Recovering a Hydro Locked Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk
We're back at it on another recovery. This time it's in the Ouachita region and we have a jeep trailhawk that got into too deep of a mudhole. Let's just say water and oil don't go well together if you. Fortunately the old Chevy tow truck was up for the job and we were able to get this hauled out without too much trouble.

Road Blocked - Trees Down Everywhere
Просмотров 1,4 тыс.5 месяцев назад
The day started out as a routine run to go clean up some trash but turned out to be a bust. Recent storms have brought the trees down in the Ozarks and we couldn’t make it out to a spot we were trying to clean up. We’ll get back out here pretty quick and cut these trees out of the road and get the tires cleaned up. www.3strandapparel.net/arkansas-off-road-recovery www.aroffroadrecovery.com For ...

We've got a good one today. This Toyota pickup along with a trailer was abandoned in a creek for a year before we were able to go in and remove it. We want to say a special thanks to the ACC BOATR members who helped make this possible! Need to be recovered? We're back out in the Ozarks cleaning up messes again. Someone apparently got stuck on this road and couldn't clean up their own mess. We picked up the pieces and then cleared out the rest of the road so now it is accessible and people are less likely to get stuck here again. Trees Down Blocking The Road
Просмотров 1,5 тыс.9 месяцев назад
Here in Arkansas we have a lot of trees and after a big storm it’s not uncommon to find lots of trees down on roads. This road has had trees down for some time and people have created routes around them causing lots of erosion. We want to help keeps roads open and helping prevent new trails from being cut will help with that. Merch www.3strandapparel.net Instagram aroffroadrecovery
Recovering a Hydrolocked Jeep Gladiator on the OOAT

We were contacted about recovering a hydrolocked jeep gladiator out in the Ozarks National Forest. The customer had gotten a little too deep in a mudhole and water had found it's way into the airbox. We rolled out with our crew and fleet and recovered the gladiator and delivered it to a nearby dealership for repairs. Website www.aroffroadrecovery.com/ Merch www.3strandapparel.net/
Hhere is your winch power appears to have very little
Joshua has been found. Unfortunately, it was not the outcome we all hoped for. We extend our condolences to the family. If you're struggling don't be afraid to ask for help, nothing is too big to overcome!
@Arkansasoff-roadrecovery Josh was found last Sunday inside his submerged vehicle in Lake Gilliam, Arkansas. RIP😢
Yes, sad news. We've been following along and had hoped for a better outcome.
He has been found. Just released on Facebook.
Yes we saw the post. Praying for the family
How did that jeep managed to get hydrolocked? Looks like the air intake is completely out of the water?
It had already been pulled out of the mudhole where it was hydrolocked by friends of the owner. We just had to get it off the trail and into town.
Went through there yesterday. Was wondering why they one hole looked drained
Any of ya'll know where Lepanto is?
Man this is making me homesick
Ha. My buddy pulled him out of the mud and gave him a ride to william’s junction!
I heard the story. Glad some people came along so he wasn’t stranded in there overnight!
@@ArkansasOff-RoadRecovery we felt bad leaving him there. I did call the sheriff’s office to have someone go check on him later in the evening.
Luke told me the story Thursday at our Razorback Land Cruiser meet. Crazy story. And the trench was brilliant to get the water level down. Sucks about the car though.
Those brakes were certainly noisy after sitting in that mud! Your tow rig did a nice job.
The underbody was caked in mud!
Impressive stuff, way to power through! Your square body wrecker is a beast, total classic.
👏👏👏👏💪💪💪💪
Great Kobe. Love the wrecker. Just subscribed
Appreciate it

What part of Arkansas are you in not Binder Darnell, Arkansas to Russellville, Arkansas are used to live around Mountain View, Arkansas, and Concord, Arkansas
You got the best brand of chainsaw ever made I had to what are use all time not tried it gold hot tried Husqvarna’s still the only one anymore that I like I used to like the Husqvarna not no more
Old school huskies much better than Stihl, have had both, Husky totally outperforms the Stihl👍😎
Great to see another one of your videos. Arkansas is a beautiful place
Thanks! We don’t get a whole lot of calls down here. pretty much everyone has a buddy to help out and there are lots of volunteers too. We do what we can though!
We moved a house from Russellville to Dardanelle. I ❤️ Arkansas but the off road places are really nice but one wrong move and ur stuck like chuck
Yep, it happens fast!
I ❤ Arkansas mud lol I live in hector we have unlimited trails for off road rigs
Good, clever work.
I’m from north east Arkansas curious on a update on him
As far as we know he has still not been found or heard from
He is been found.
those roads you mentioned off limits are they accessible by way of electric mountain bikes 🤔
As far as I know a mountain bike would be fine. Those roads are closed to motor vehicles.
camera work sucks
Probably, but the job got done and that's what is important to us
Thank you for sharing. That is some great team work😊😊😊. I really like your tow truck.❤. No bells and whistles just a strong pulling machine.
Thanks!
You could you a few pointers from Rory....Trailmater channel
I've seen a lot of his stuff. He knows what he's doing but he's been doing it for years. We also have very different terrain and vehicle capabilities over here.
Good job for looking, world needs more people looking out for each other, your an example to us all
Could have also gone to petite jean state park depending on which way he was traveling
Josh is one of my best friends and was a neighbor of mine for 5 years. I went down to Arkansas and searched all of Wolfpen Gap and Eagle Rock Loop with some help from the local hikers. Thank you for all you are doing!
That chevy looks beautiful
I remember this. There was also a young man from Missouri that went missing in the same area around the same time.
Do you know the name? I hadn’t heard that
@@ArkansasOff-RoadRecovery His sister had made a pretty vague FB post. I tried asking questions for an exact location or why he was in the NF to begin with but it was a blank wall. Will try and find the post.
Or polk creek rd in norman its turns to dirt and goes over a scary kinda steep mtn
What about north fork lake
north fork lake near mtn home? That’s about 4-5 hours from his last known location
@@ArkansasOff-RoadRecovery no its off of Gaston rd in black springs ark
@@ArkansasOff-RoadRecovery Gaston rd in black springs ark to nf68 . It's on Google maps
ok, we’ll look into it
Hope you find the lad, well, thanks for taking the time to search, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Me too, we'll be keeping an eye out on all our trips.
I say check places a car could go around water but i hope im wrong about that
Yep, we're looking into those possibilities. Hopefully not the case but it has happened before
I hope he is found soon. Good for y'all to take your own time to try to help find the man. Can you tell us where that large waterfall is please?
You might want to start checking downstream from the low water bridges. If Joshua tried crossing one off those low water bridges during a high water event, he could be a couple of hundred yards down the creek from the crossing. Those creeks rise fast in a downpour.
That is definitely a possibility
If you would like to organize a search for SXS’s I am sure you would get a tremendous turnout to search. I would be more than willing to participate.
It's a possibility. The big problem is we really have no idea where else to look. He could have gone any direction.
checking Caves and Crevasse would be a good place. people like to explore the unknown and go into places they shouldn't be in.
Possibly, but his car still should be somewhere
I’m sure people have used drones in that area for searching?
I don't know for sure. The main problem is the vegetation is so thick there is little to nothing to be seen from a drone except above open areas.
Has anyone used sonar at the lake. Just an idea my friend.
Not that we know of. Unfortunately the lake is large with many areas a car could access it. We also have no idea if he was ever anywhere near the lake.
@@ArkansasOff-RoadRecovery there is a crew on youtube, don't remember their name but that's what they do, search waterways for cars, trucks and the people who are missing in those vehicles.
@@TwoFeatherChannel Yes there are a few channels that do that. I think they have been contacted but due to their size and popularity it may take a while
@@ArkansasOff-RoadRecovery I'm friends with the family and I have all the sonars that Adventures with Purpose have. If you know some spots to check I would come and help look. I can read a Sonar just as good if not better then the dive teams. I usually am looking for fish, but I know to check ramps and spots by roads! However if we found a car idk if we could get anyone to dive on them!
I can verify a few spots that may be a possibility. It's a long shot because we have no idea if he even went that direction but I'm up for anything!
I would have straightened the tires up Just saying
Tie rod was broken on one side and the steering wash locked up.
Nice looking country!
Excellent job your doing, certainly nice country, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Where is this waterfall you can drive to?
That’s a sandy a ss creek damn
Nice job Nice show 😃👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
Love the videos,,keep'em coming
Are you gonna have gear with the new Arkansas state outline logo? Will definitely contact you if we get stuck next time we go up in the mountains north of Clarksville. Love that Custom Deluxe!
Yes we are, we have our first gen shirts on sale currently to help clear them out so we can get new ones with the logo. We’ll get some stickers listed soon. What else would you want to see? Patches? Mugs?
@@ArkansasOff-RoadRecovery All that merch sounds good. Maybe coozies and hats would be a good option. Also appreciate you helping take care of cleaning up and keeping AR natural. We try and do the same when out exploring.
I've asked b4,how do I get in touch with ya'll for recovery? Do ya'll have a fb or sumt?
yes we have Facebook, Instagram, or phone 479-280-7875
@@ArkansasOff-RoadRecovery that's good to know. I get out in the Ouachitas quite frequently. I have a 4x4 dakota with 3.90 lsd fr/r w 231 HD transfer case and 5.2 and I find myself in some peculiar situations sometimes out here.. lol
Would love to c tht waterfall and area. It would b a good area for a family to sight see or ride 4 wheelers. From North Central Arkansas and I no nothing about tht area or even know how to get to it.
Thanks for cleaning up and maintaining our planet. Some of us really appreciate it! God bless!
Nice job Nice show 😄👏👏👏👍👍👍👍😍
