Upcyled creations all from reclaimed wood. I love making things from pallets! Patterened table tops, rocking chairs, mud kitchens, planters, window boxes, bbq grill stations, garden tables, garden benches, bird houses and even my own workbench! Watch my videos to see how I make them and look out for woodworking tips and tricks.

Upcycled pallet chevron coffee table
Просмотров 2,5 тыс.4 года назад
Upcycled pallet chevron coffee table with hairpin legs. Watch how I made this patterned coffee/side table and the work that was involved. All reclaimed wood.
you are an inspiration,well done
I really enjoyed your 2 videos here, I wished you'd have kept going with them.
Ahh the old pink safety sandals! 😂
Great work. Pallets are great! If I might offer one suggestion; lower the volume on your music a bit when you edit. I had to put mine down to around -24 before it wasn't too loud. Keep it up. Subscribed!
The bench looks great. I’m new to woodworking and am looking at making a work bench. I was looking at using 4x2’s, but want to keep the cost down and am now thinking of using pallets. How has the bench faired so far?
AWESOME PRESENTATION 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Awesome video! Well done.
Nice work 👍🏻
nice job!
Brilliant job and great tips
Fantastic job well done you 👏
Great job! I've been watching loads of videos about making a workbench out of 2x4's and for some reason it never occurred to me to use pallet wood. Your bench and video are my favorite out of all the ones I've seen
Great build and good video I enjoyed it a wee tip for you I seen you use wax on your plan if you try to rud wax or even a bar of hand soap on your screws it helps the to drive then drive in easier
the wheels was a good idea
Is it steady to work on it being on wheels?
put your pry bar in the clamp or vice and use the wood as the lever its much easier try it youl will be suprised.
Excuse me...are you scottish ?
Hey if you're not careful doing all that hand planing you'll give Arnie a run for his money 💪 The table looks great. I also used a steel base to make a coffee table out of the off cut from my work bench. Thanks for the video.
Thank you I enjoyed this mate
Everything was good, until you used those right angle brackets.
Excellent job
That was inspirational to watch. Turned out great, want to try this myself
I just bought some tools to get started! Now I'm looking for pallets but it's not as easy as I thought.. Wood prices have been sky rocketing even the big stores don't want to give their spare pallets away.. Gotta pay 5-10€ but I'll be getting my hands on them pallets! I'm sure I will
More videos please 🙏🏽
Very impressive. I now have yet another future project. 😉
Thank you. I have so many future projects too but not enough time! I'd like to see your bench when it's done!
Hi Just found your channel. I love all things to do with pallets and hand tool woodworking and im always on the hunt for ppl who love to make things out of wood. I also love Paul Sellars and have built a workbench he did a video on how to make a few years back. It is also rock solid like your bench. Thanks so much for sharing your build. I enjoyed it very much. Subbed and liked. Cheers 😁
Thank you so much! Yes Paul Sellers is an excellent teacher. Good luck with all your builds 👍
Thanks - youre an inspiration !
This is actually a really good idea. I'd like to try it.
those Irwin clamps are way too weak to properly glue those boards up. use pipe clamps
It seemed to work?
"Watch this space," says the right honorable lady. "Will do" is my reply. Cheers!
May I offer the hope that when you do eventually drop large objects on your socked foot that it lands flat so as to distribute the force broadly, and not on a corner, so that you do not suffer greater injury. Or, please wear more substantial footwear. 460 One day these low, 3 digit sub numbers will sell for millions.
I’m just getting into woodworking and this was the perfect video for me. Same as you I work off of an outdoor deck and wanted to upgrade to a work bench rather than two plastic saw horses so I’m about to begin building my workbench after collecting a couple pallets. Thanks so much for this video. Table looks awesome!
I've just stumbled on to your channel and I have to say how impressed I am with your work. I was a joiner for 23 years and I've been a construction site manager for 25 years. I think you have real potential and would encourage you to continue to practice your skills. You will get better as time goes on and your work will improve as you hone your skills. Try to push yourself making some small boxes with dovetail joints. Check out car boot sales for good quality tools at realistic prices. Keep up the good work. I look forward to your next project. Kind regards Jonathan.
Much better than all the other videos doing the same thing but with tens of 1000s worth in electric tools. You show what can be done with maybe £100 in tools, sash clamps and free wood. Well done.
good job
Nice build.
Thank you 👍
Nice to see someone learning and using tools they have to hand rather than fancy planner/thicknessers and such. Shame you didn’t continue with your channel, 2 posts and a year since the last one would seem that you didn’t continue with your new hobby.
I started the woodwork during the lockdowns and am now back to work full time so don't get much opportunity for it. I still like to make stuff but youtube videos take a long time to make! Hopefully I'll get a chance to come back to it soon!
Really enjoyed watching you work. Your determination is admirable. My first workbench was made from pine 1x4's, and 3/4" plywood from old kitchen cabinets from a remodel. It served me well. You're doing great my friend keep up the good work.
Thank you! 😊
Job well done! Greetings from down under Australia….stay safe!
Thank you 👍
Quais são as medidas desta workbench?
Tabletop looks great, not a fan of the metal legs you put on it but your woodworking is top notch.
Thank you 👍
Great job! I'm planning to make a workbench too, one that will live outside as well. Where do you find pallets like that? I assume you live in the UK, I hardly ever see pallets like that. I've been thinking to join together all those thin pallet slats to try and make a thick table like yours.
I hunt for them everywhere! Good luck joining them altogether! It's hard work but worth it in the end. Please share your workbench too 😁🙂
I really enjoyed both of your videos, I hope you make more.
Beautiful lady with wisdom and strength
Thank you so much!! 👍🙏😊
Very Nice job on the bench. If I may make a suggestion; Use 2 house door hinges for each leg & make 2 spreaders to fit tightly into notches in the bottom cross members of the legs. Screw them in. To fold it; roll on it's side, pull out spreaders, fold legs. If you need to disassemble; pull pins out of door hinge. I hope you have 3-4 strong people to help move it. lol Hope this helps. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Thank you for the suggestion! 🙂
Will you be bring out anymore videos?
Hello. After the pandemic I am back to work full time so don't have much time for youtube at the moment! I do have more videos, I love to make them. Thank you 👍
Wow really nicely done. Can’t wait to see what you create on your new pallet workbench!
This is right up my alley. I’ve stripped loads of pallets ready to have some fun and learn along the way, but first things first, I need a workbench. This is exactly what I needed to inspire me. Thank you very much! You’ve got yourself a subscriber here!
So glad to hear and thank you! 😊
Mad respect.
Thank you 🙏
Nice video. Looks like you only put two videos up. Thanks for sharing. Do more please :-)
Thank you. I will try to find the time for more videos! 🙂
