This one lasted for about a month on my power steering line in my v8 swapped Mazda until I turned it hard and it split. The pressure on a brake line under hard ABS braking I would guess could result in the same kind of failure. Either way they are still Illegal for use on a brake line so I would never use them on a brake line.

It's in but I have not had time to finish the truck yet the motor came out of a 69 fleetwood and that car was over 5000 lbs and ran low 15's in the quarter with a highway gear that never got out of second. It was easily making that kind of power. It should be fun!

It's as street legal as any of the drag and drive cars can be. I will agree it's not emission legal but he drives it on the street and has a flex fuel sensor and tune that allows he to run pump gas and a cooling system to handle stop and go traffic. He made the car from his first car he drove off the showroom floor new to which the only original parts left on the car are the vin plate and tail lights but it's registered, insured and he still drives it on the street.

His lack of concern makes me think it's not the first time that has happened. LOL

@@rippingburnouts I'm so happy I found this video. I went through two aftermarket spark modules because they aren't very robust and need to be used only sparingly. Even with all the components this is less than half what I paid for the spark module. The nice thing is if one side quits I don't have to trash the entire thing. All the other videos I've seen left me confused but this one is very straight forward. Thanks again.

LOL And yet can run 5.88's at 260mph. It was a photo shoot not a burnout show.

The design was made to be stable at 300mph so aerodynamics played a roll in the shape and design and the carbon fiber body is one of a kind and all hand built so cheap is not what I would call it.

Registered and insured to drive on the street and capable of pulling into a gas station and running on pump gas obviously not making 5000hp on pump gas but has a flex full sensor to adjust the tune. A Bugatti Chiron runs 9.4 at 158mph not 5.88's at 260mph so in a 1/4 mile drag race even with a street tune it would smoke a Bugatti on the strip so you are comparing two different types of cars. It's not a drag and drive car it's a pro mod that is streetable it races at non drag and drive events normally.

No it was made out of a base1969 Plum Crazy Charger to look like a Daytona

Most cars can do a burnout not many can do over 260mph in a quarter mile and and drive down the street.

Not with the street tune but the car can make over 4700 to the wheels on the dyno and can be street driven.

True, this bad work was done at a dealer and just over a year later I had to tell the customer that his "new" brake lines failed and it had to be redone because even though he payed for all new prebent GM lines the tech decided that it was easier to just cut the new lines in half and only replace the half that was leaking with NON DOT legal pluming parts. So yes I agree people do use them but no shop that follows the law should.

I'm not sure why he doesn't do the drag and drives. He did race Tom Tom Bailey at the NRHA-Gatornationals! a few years ago.

I call b.s. tom Bailey and Steve Morris drive there 5000 HP pro mods on all the streets throughout the us, shit I drove my tube chassis mustang from N.Y. to Florida as long as you have lights,signals plates and insurance they can't do anything

It does make a distinct noise when they fail sometimes even before you can find looseness in the joint you will hear it.

I'm with you on that I like to see things put together in the way that it looks like everything belongs and not just a bunch of random things that some one found and decorated the car with. But some people have that as the look they are after and can't wait to find the next weird thing they can ziptie to the grill.
