There will never be a better team ever
Too good. You can get this game on DVD
Go SAINTS!!! WooooW
Hey mate might be a long shot but do you happen to have the 96 Preseason Trial match Hawthorn Vs Adelaide at all? I’ve been looking for it for a long time, any help would greatly appreciated cheers!

@@JeffAlbertsonAFL sorry mate don’t have
@@glenferriegold6842 no worries mate thanks for letting me know!
Legend
So sad
I think Baz and Dan Vettori call the batsman back eventually.
The 🐐 chief Dunstall won't be beaten best of all time player and in the media
Thx Derm. 🤎💛. 🇦🇺👍🍺
When Dermot Breraton wasn’t getting into fights with Essendon players, he was getting marks like a star 😂
Go Chief
Scott not as brave with Robbie McGhee
Was at that game against port Adelaide in 2000….nice tight win on the way to the finals.
Knight was a class act and he said to young Silvagni afterwards dont feel bad your dad did the same thing to me .
Best hands ever
Hello
Sheedy acting again.
Remarkably he kicked 0.5 the following week against the Swans. Still kicked 30 goals in the last 4 rounds of the H&A season and finished with 101 before finals. Incredible player.
I love the old footage . Tobacco adds around the ground and no AFLW .
Jeans said Dunstall was a natural and Jarman was just another part of that puzzle .
What an era for Hawthorn and some of the greatest players of all time .
Allen Jakovich had 8 in his 4th game.
Darren Jarman looking very good.
This was when footy was exciting to watch. Now it sucks. The umpires get too excited when someone bumps someone.
Two commentators coached five of the next seven flags.
Should have been the 1992 brownlow medallist but the stupid umpire's votes were mixed up and Jason Taylor got the 3 instead of Dunstall. There should be an inquiry into the matter after all these years. But still Scotty Wynd should keep his of course.
Best hands ever , and could have kicked more than Lockett if he wasn't so unselfish .
Yes as even Dermott said that.
My Favourite Player .
July 13 1985 Live Aid day.
should rename to 11 goals
Thanks mate
I was at Waverley the day Dunstall kicked 17. Being born in '71 and a Hawks supporter I just feel so spoilt.
If only we were that good at the moment! And this was the year Collingwood ended up Premiers 😂
Peter hudson is the greatest full forward in history Averaged 5.64 a game Did a knee in 1st round of 72 Comes back plays a full season in 77 and still kicks a hundred goals, 5th in 6 seasons of football I did see hudson , mckenna, lockett, dunstall at there best No one comes close to hudson Just beat opponents at will champion
How under-rated was Jimmy "The Freak" Morrissey.
Huge X-Factor....Did it in the 1988 Grand Final too.
I miss the old football when it was football even the commentry was better than it is now miss it big time 😢
Not a hawk but a lover of the REAL game... The game for men not spoiled punks with big muscles and half a brain... Great video, Hawthorn.
The difference between Rioli and Buddy is one played for the team and the other for the glory .
Who was his coach!
Funny watching Mathews as Coach Of Collingwood getting done by his old team.
Dunstall was the best Full Forward I ever saw .
Don Scott swinging his handbag
Hey markedman, Screw Fiztroy.....GO HAWKS. Next you'll feel sorry for StKilda 😂
Sheedy always deserved those bumps cos he gave them out ;how do I know cos I was just a kid when I played against him and it wasn’t a pleasant experience .I am now 76yo
Tell me, was he physically rough and verbally aggressive, or just the former?
He once spat in an opponents face, a very ordinary act.
The Best I ever saw .
Continuing my never ending quest as to the answer: why did the premiership dvds from 61-86 rip us off the medallions and trophy presentations?
I've collected all grand final DVDs and I find it really annoying that the early Hawthorn grand finals don't have the medal and cup presentation included. I could maybe understand 61 and 71 as others in the 60s and early 70s weren't included. But 76, 78, 83 and 86 grand finals should have them included as all the grand finals won by Carlton, North Melbourne, Richmond and Essendon in the 70s and 80s were included in the DVDs.
Does anyone know why the trophy presentation was not included on the 1961 premiers dvd?
Why wasn't the trophy presentation included on the dvd?
10 premierships. 3 were totally won by cheating the salary cap big time. CHEATING HAWTHORN HAWKS.
Who said it doesn't pay to cheat. Salary cap cheating specialist Hawthorn won three premierships by cheating big time. The AFL cheated football by not taking those premierships of them.💩
It's really important to stress Hawthorn admitted cheating the salary cap in 1989 . Cheated to win this game and the grand final in other words. Take the 1989 premiership off Hawthorn. It's ridiculous it hasn't been done already. Cheats😮😮
😆. Every club cheated the salary cap in the 1980s.. that’s why the afl called an amnesty in the early 90s.. one of the reasons so many players moved clubs bcos all clubs were over the cap
@@glenferriegold6842 just not the truth. Carlton may have cheated big time but nobody came close to Hawthorn. Cheating club with sniper players.
If you're saying Hawthorn were the only ones cheating the cap you're delusional, selective in your history or just lying. Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon and several others were doing the same. Poor enforcement meant everyone saw the cap as suggested rather than litteral. It was not until the mid 90s that attitudes changed
@@C.A.MARSUPIAL loser. If you think your club didn't your lying to us...or yourself 😂
@@craigschruhm2379 I notice the team Hawthorn cheated in the 1989 grand final Geelong wasn't mentioned in your cheating list. Richmond didn't have the money to cheat the salary cap. More team's didn't rather than did cheat the cap. Geelong are the true 1989 Premiers . TRUTH. HAWTHORN HAS 10 PREMIERSHIPS . 3 TAKEN OFF FOR CRIMINAL LIKE BREACHES OF THE 86, 88 AND 89 SALARY CAP.💩
