My channel content consists of historical videomapping videos, if you look at my older videos you will see that I was doing alternate videomapping videos but I've stopped making this now. I may someday start doing documentaries as well, I'll see. If you want to suggest me video idea or just talk to me.

I'm a McIntosh, I'm an indigenous Australian with My McIntosh and Ryan ancestry coming from my mum's side who is indigenous, her father is Innjardda tribe from the Gascoyne region of western Australia and his mum was full blood indigenous women and his father was a Scottish station owner James McIntosh. We are also Ryan's and Hunt's from my Grandmums side who was from the Wajarri tribe , Murchison western Australia. I love having a variety of blood in my veins. ❤
Yes, and if not for us YankDoddles as many of you rudely refer to us, you and your lot would be speaking German and your clans would be meaningless. And you're right, it was American and Russian blood shed on European soil to save you from extermination, rape and subjugation. Many Americans left Europe to be treated fairly and be free from people just like you and your arrogant ancestors who treated us as slaves in the serf system for centuries. Also, before you point out how we took the land we have, let me ask, was the land your clan fist occupied free of inhabitants when you first arrived in your clan's claimed territory? I think not. When the time comes again you'll be begging the YankDoddles to save you again, but maybe we shouldn't. You're welcome you arse!!!
2024 and the moolas are now also forming clans in scotland
Clan Keith here, my maiden name. I'd always heard my father's family was from Scotland, but i know none of my Keith relatives.
Where are the Carsons in this? I’m 34% Scottish, Gordons, Keiths up my family tree too
Not even close, more research is needed.

Give me an effing break - NO CLANS IN PERTHSHIRE by 1206?!?! ARE YOU HIGH? I did my doctoral thesis on Scottish history and to say that no clans existed there PRIOR to 1206 is just flat out lying.
One of the oldest clans Robertson is missing
I live in America and have traced my roots to Davidson clan (my last name is Davidson) and Guthrie Clan
Nicely done! TY for your efforts. Very interesting.
Meh, my parents dragged me & my twin to Canada in '68 from Glasgow. They could have split the Pea & left me there but oh no, 7 yr olds can't stay without the other twin. I'd love to go back just to die & be buried where I started from, now I live in Canada in a small city of *Campbell River, BC. Still full of Scots here with 30% related, but I'm still being called home.
865 Macpherson here. One of the oldest Scottish clans.

I think Clan MacRae (my clan) was put in slightly early, as they were still living in Beauly up until the early 1300s when they moved into the Kintail area (in this video they are shown in that area in 1250, about three quarters of a century too early)
Recently visited the homeland of our Clan and the memorial to Jamie MacPherson. Was great to be home for an hour or two.
Manu Forti
Clan Crawford here, raising hell since the middle ages!
Dayum. The video we never asked for, but never knew we needed. You are one of a kind, and the video is one of a kind. I really appreaciate this. I hope you the best🫡❤
This video is terribly inaccurate. My family clan was established and vested with lands and titles hundreds of years before it is listed here. I saw several others that have a much longer history as well. Not worth the time to view this if inaccurate.
It is worth the time, just as much as your comment that the historical record is faulty. Both can be correct at the same time, as for many, the map may be a first time acknowledgement of their ancestory and for some an inspiration to research their family history
No mention of the outlawed clan... Thats alright. 💪🏻😆 #Finley
All living Scots and their descendents can thank the "Devils Dirty Dozen" (a derogatory English phrase and where it derives from), the 12 LOWLAND, CLANS - Bells, Nixons, Armstrongs, Maxwells, and the others, for Scotland's existence today. These are the families, the BORDER CLANS, or "ROUGH RIDERS", that primarily fought the borderlands against England for centuries, as well as invading Roman armies, again over centuries - all who ATTEMPTED to defeat, as well as rule, Scotland. By way of an Act of the English Crown, enforced to the present day by the Court of Lord Lyon, a perpetual "thanks" was bestowed on these "unruly" and repulsive troublemakers on horseback, by PERPETUAL DECREE: the Lord Lyons refusal to recognize these families as "legitimate" SCOTTISH CLANS. So if you don't see your clan name, this could be a reason. With all due respect for my highland brothers and sisters, I wouldnt trade my ancestoral history as a Bell for any tickle moniker from England for anything. Not for Clan Bell "reestablishment" (we know who we were and who we are), not for 1,000 of the English Queen's best horses, and certainly not for title or "deeded" land. "I BIER THE BELL" FOREVER. ALBA GO BRAGH❤ -NARA Researcher and Genealogist
Toooooo small, I can’t read it. 😡
Love how this makes Scotland seem really bloody full, when in reality you can walk for days in the highlands without seeing a soul
Smoking that MacLeod pack. Fuck Campbells
Nice!

You don't list my clan, the McKEEs: a huge clan with my genealogical branch going back to Scotland to about 1300, as given in the Book of McKEEs. The "c" is raised and underscored. My family link is with Robert McKEE, who landed in Boston about 1690.
