SIBELIUS - Le cri du paon (hautbois clarinettes harpe)
Awful! Such a beautiful piece of music ruined by technical masturbation..
Astounding!!!!!
How did you find this video? May it be possible to find it in a better quality? Thanks, this is a legendary recording.
Michelangeli was an incredible performer and musician. But i'm amazed that no one listener has the suspect that the video is runnig faster. The sonata is an exercise , indeed, and is written with the indication Allegro for the tempo. Is enough observe the hands ande the keys and the sound to perceive that the video is accelerated. The hands plays correctly in Si or B minor on the keyboard but the sound is in Do or B minor If you adjust the pitch at the original key, (with Audacity or a simple audio application) you got the real time of Michelangeli's execution. Marco Guadagnini, Rome
Original is to difficult 😊
🎉🎉
H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. In Scarlatti's times Allegro did not mean speed but moos. This is a massacre. Quelle horreur.
4:29 Friska, you're welcome
My gay son just came while listening to this masterpiece ❤❤
What 😂
Bravo Volodos!
Absolutely mind-blowing! What a performance!!!!!
Beurk
Technically admirable but way too fast in my opinion. This exagerated velocity takes away all the beauty from this piece.
When this was shown in "the art of piano" I thought I could do this, as K27 is not as brutal as K24, and I did play Chopin 10 2 at speed, but the clarity and eveness at this speed is very, very difficult indeed!
Tooooooo damn fast ugh!

It is NOT THAT easy
2:14 - 2:18 Unbelievable work with his pinky. The greatest interpretation by far.
🏆
🦁
Scarlatti y Michelangeli místicos
Michelangeli campeón
❤
Why does this label the piece as by Scriabin? This is Etincelles by Moszkowski.
Is Volodos the reincarnation of Liszt?
Amazing ❤❤❤👍👍👍👏👏👏
I can’t believe what I’ve just heard highly emotional with one of the top regarding technique. Totally overwhelming and awe inspiring.
To be frank, it's not an impressive transcription at all. Some of his well-known transcriptions, like the Turkish March, Italian Polka, Bizet's Spanish Waltz, and this piece, clearly mimic and expand on Horowitz's ideas. However, they add far too many unnecessary and excessive ornaments. From my perspective, as someone who studies both classical and jazz, no matter how many notes you add and play them flawlessly, it doesn't come close to being captivating music. Specifically, for instance, the development from 6:10 feels musically unnecessary and overly exaggerated. Moreover, its voicing and rhythm are too simplistic, making it feel very bland. His Italian Polka, unfortunately, is bland for the same reasons. Of course, I acknowledge that Volodos' mechanical playing technique is nearly the best in the world, rivaling even the likes of Jesus Molina. I wish he would provide truly captivating music.
Guys imagine Horowitz and Volodos played together

fireworks
Exquisite technique ,but this feels rushed
Absolutely astounding 😲
That is a very u usual venue. They put a piano on a dock?
Either the video has been sped up or he is playing in C♯
This man in inhuman.
Simply Beautiful ...
Always end up coming back to this video. What a performance, really spectacular. Such a great technique.
Transcendental pianism at its finest.
Super fort
This song maximizes virtuosity to the max level on the piano no other instrument on Earth can compete
Song? What song?
Song? What song?
@@jponz85 title of the video
@Shocklomania Musical Astounder bro, it's not a "song". Do you hear anyone singing? It's a "peice" of music, not a song.
@@jponz85 peice? What peice? (will accept the typo xD)
Genius
god level. I've watched him since i was a child along with Heifetz, Menuhin, Ricci etc. literally The only person who can make a Steinway sound good in the bass. He's been an inspiration to me and my Liszt transpositions to solo violin. Check out my Symphonie No.2 in C#Minor!
Perfect technique! Unbelievable..
