My partner left Emirates after only being there for just over a year, believe us and try take it as a blessing that you never started with them. By far one of the most vile and toxic employers out there that have zero regard for human rights. Set your sights on a proper employer in Europe or North America and you'll most certainly have a blast! I hope you find a position that you are truly passionate about and enjoy soon, keep up the hard work!!

As a person aspiring to become a flight attendant one day I’m sorry to hear this, I never had a tattoo but my main concern is they won’t accept me cause I’m a type one diabetic and it’s been my dream job

Do your research before breaking rules, and dont think you are better made for the job then others. Everyone is replacable. And if you take care properly before applying for the job, you are fine.

Hi I watched your video I was former flight attendant for US Airways after working with them for 6years Had to leave to Canada cuz of My visa status I was not a citizen of USA. It took me more than a year to recover, but all things works out for good now I am in medical field the best decision I have ever made. I miss being a flight attendant for the purpose of flying different countries. I don't miss carrying my luggage and the hassle. All will work out for you. Take courage. 🙏 I have been in Dubai many times can't stand the heat. Have a blessed year enjoy your life. They did you a favor to discover better job it's there lose not yours. You deserve the best in life, take it this way. Wish you the best, you will do well .

This experience means there's something much, much better waiting for you out there. Be patient, it will come and will come with more joy and more financial benefit. Most often the best things for you begin on a disappointing note. Only later in life you realize how good it was for you that it didn't happen. The cabin crew job is relentless and exhausting from what I've heard (my cousin used to work for Emirates) and the honeymoon period wears off very quickly only to leave you jetlagged. God works in mysterious ways.

Honey, I’m an ex Emirates cabin crew so I completely understand what you’ve been through. Emirates is the best airline but I know being different is quite hard there especially appearance, tattoo etc. I’m working for one of US major airlines now and it’s so much liberal and it’s diverse so your life is what it’s meant to be.. You seem like an amazing person! Cheer up and keep being amazing!

In the bigger picture, this really is not a company worth trying so hard to be a part of. While Emirates may feel they are above the rest, this really doesn't follow through with the values they market themselves on having.

Just apply for AirCanada, I just got my cabin crew license and o only apply at my South African airlines ONLY, because these international ones have too much requirements for me. 😊

Their loss, at least I know to never travel with them if they feel that way about tattooed people. You thought it'd be gone by then, and it doesn't show anyway if you're wearing the jacket, or cover it with Dermablend ... they're petty. A tiny tattoo that is being removed and can easily be covered with makeup shouldn't mean someone loses their job, it was a mistake, a genuine one. Hope they never make mistakes

I’m sorry tvOS happened to you. It seems cold and heartless to have a company be that strict. The uniform covers your tattoo. Could you use tattoo makeup to cover it more? I guess no resolution is good enough for them.

How quickly after accepting an offer did you start training in Dubai? I see so many recruitment days, but doubt they have training as often?

The company may have hired more people than they needed, expecting some to drop out before training day. Then when they didnt drop out, the ones at the end of the list may have been dropped. You may have been put at the end of the list because of the tattoo. When you have adjusted to what has happened, I think this is a new opportunity to go back to school and train for a new career. Teacher, nurse, lawyer, journalist - whatever. And once your in a new life path, life will be back to normal. A new normal, but you will be happy again. Im 65 and I have kids who I think are around your age. My 30 year old is a vet and my 26 year old was a registered nurse and has now started a new life path in medical school. Other youtubers have said that your job is a temporary career (for various reasons) until you discover your real life path. So now its time to get a marketable qualification.
