It literally doesn’t add up timeline wise. When Abby leaves the hospital after beating the rat king the sun is like mid setting. When Ellie gets to the hospital the sun has all but fully set. Meaning Abby has left the hospital by the time Ellie even makes it to the hospital.

There’s no evidence to suggest that Nora had just let Abby go. Not a single line of dialogue supports that notion. Thera an assertion that you made. Again. Abby brings lev and yara to the aquarium early morning day 2. Mel checks yara out and determines that they need supplies to help her. Mel specifies that they NEED to be back by like 4/5 hours or Yara is dead. That means Abby has to be back before nightfall at least. Abby gets knocked out and handcuffed. And rescued. But here’s the kicker. When Abby is doing beating the rat king and reunites with lev, it’s like starting to sunset. Or late afternoon. By the time Ellie even reached the hospital itself the sun has all but completely set. Let alone what time it was after she got done with all the fireflies, and infected in the hospital. The only way ellie could possibly be hearing Abby behind that door is if that beating she was giving Nora was transcending time itself to see her back in time a couple of hours.

Just imagine 2 little dots in that bridge and Ellie saying something like "What are those 2 idiots doing"

It would be waaay to high up to see with the naked eye from the ground level it's literally impossible

People keep saying it’s not close but like 2 things 1. You have to travel a long ass ways under the hospital as Abby to get to the rat king. And geographically speaking where Ellie exits the sewers from and where the hospital is isn’t really that far. It just feels farther away than it is because Ellie can’t take a straight path to the hospital. 2. The sewers themselves are roughly as deep underground as that hospital section. So even if we account for the hospital being pretty far away, the fact that you can hear the the noises *distanrly* should only add more credibility to my position, not less.

Centipede king a bunch of infect fused together to make this elongated creature that is both fast on land and water. A new infected called jumpers. Maybe infected animals as well.

Other people have heard it too just look at the comments and cope.

Tou have to go through a block length area section of park and the three encounters are literally right next to each other and if you payed attention you’d realize your pathing puts the hospital reather close to where the sewer spits you out. The extra trekking is thanks to the absolute shit condition of town. But the hospital is relatively close. Close enough that it’s make sense that the fighting you can clearly hear in the sewers could be the echoes of Abbys fight with the rat king, reverberating in the sewers. To support my point I’ll also add that the sewers and the hospital basement appear to be at relatively the same level.

@@henrihai1940 not as reaching as people believing that Abby was fighting the rat king while Ellie was in the hospital when Ellie arrived at dark and Abby left when it was still plenty light out.

Sewers, climb up, You Are Here park, pigeon building, “Now he is free” parking garage area, jump gap, go through Sephora, jump down into water, Weston’s 8355 drugstore safe, swim, WLF talks about “she (Abby) got away”, RIP Vita girl, open door to courtyard of hospital, and where Abby fights RK is one the other side of hospital past the “Boat’s pretty full” “C’mon I don’t wanna be here all day” cafeteria area.

@@Dullias I played on hard for that first run, doing survivor+ now. I think it's just because I saved loads of gear with Abby and worked out that if I figure of 8 the space and wait behind the table it never caught me and I still had enough time to craft more pipes. Tbh all of Abby's gameplay felt to me like I'd turned the difficulty down to the point I only healed to full during the Tommy sniping point from getting my sprint timing wrong

It rarely matters how durable your monster is, the minute you let the player fight and kill it it loses all its mystique. It's really difficult to balance good gameplay experience with keeping your monster ACTUALLY terrifying. Bloodborne manages it IMO. I don't think anyone doesn't shit their pants at the thought of being stuck in a room with a Winter Lantern, still able to kill them though.

@@PettyKreuger Joel's death was not the problem. It's how they did it. On top of that, there are a multitude of problems with the writing, from the way characters behave to how events are jumbled completely out of order, to the flawed telling of revenge costing everything. I get where they were going with it, but it could've easily been done better. Hell, RDR1 and 2 did them significantly better both 2 and 10 years prior. I just find it bizarre that Ellie decides to spare the one person who ruined her life because it would've gone "too far", but had no issue murdering hundreds of people beforehand. Despite that, her feeling regret for killing a woman she didn't know was pregnant, versus Abby relishing in the fact that she was going to kill Dina who was also pregnant? Also, Ellie could've easily gotten her revenge by not cutting Abby down in the first place. There are parts of the story I like here and there, especially the birthday flashback, but the majority of the writing just feels very convoluted and relies too much on coincidences to work the way it did. There's a lot more, but it would be too much of a wall to type. lol Writing aside, there's so much of the game that they nailed, from the environments to the performances. I love Ashley's singing, and I wish Jesse wasn't killed off so soon. I'd rate the game at least a 5/10 if only for everything that isn't the story. I hope season 2 of the show changes the way they introduce Abby, maybe give us a better way to sympathize with her in a more straightforward way, make us actually care about her before killing Joel, so it becomes a real grey journey of revenge.

@@malcolmmorin I also get what you’re saying. But Ellie decides to spare her only after realizing that it’s pointless. After losing everything. What the point anymore? But yes. She felt horrible about killing and unborn child. Hundreds of soldiers doing harm? No problem. She has SOME compassion for strangers. Unlike Abby who had none. It’s a story about revenge and what it means. NOTHING. What did you gain from it? Nothing. Only loss. It IS a good story. Once you get past all the previous “before release hate”. That’s all it is. Everyone already made their decision on the game before it even came out because of the leaks lol
