Having someone who pushes me, challenges my thinking, and holds me accountable has been a game-chan...

What's causing my Shoulder Pain?
Просмотров 126Год назад
Is your shoulder pain mechanical, neurological or chemical? 😆 You say 'Dan I don't really care, it just bloody hurts'. Well, this is true, however a recent study found that in fact most chronic shoulder pain is actually chemical, rather than mechanical or neurological. You see, it's not really nerve pain, and your shoulder is not out of position, rather it's the ongoing chemical (inflammation) ...
Use a TENS Machine For Your Chronic Pain

Do you use, or have you ever used a TENS machine? 😆 I love a good TENS machine. At home we have a Compex 6.0. My wife uses this regularly for her chronic pain. The "area of dissapointment" is just another factor to be considered. I like this philosophy.
My memory used to be like an elephant. Tell me something and I was able to recall that years later with a time stamp - lol. Got Covid in August 2022 and after 3 months, it was the first time I felt, being not focused. The best example is the payroll I do every month for my employees. It happens once or twice in a month (out of 400 employees) that there are slightly mistakes in it e. G. working hours not correct or such. 5 month after the initial covid infection, must be around January / February, it turned out, that 46 billing sheets were wrong and them missing some high numbers. Also when I wrote a sentence, the moment of writing it, it turned out to be correct. When proofreading, almost every frigging word was wrong - lol... Right now at the moment of writing, it just affects my logical thinking in a way. So, a phrase like: Anna have a sister and a brother, how many sisters does the sister of Anna have?, took like 5 minutes to solve. Scary, isnt it? Not to mention being unable to make plans or to plan ahead, which is crucial for me. Aphantasy seems to be a thing as well, as it uses a lot of brain power right now to imagine something and to keep that picture in your head. There were moments my wife told me, that she don't recognise me and was worried a lot. From being a genius expert to a dumb piece of meat in no time, not remembering where I placed my phone 5 seconds ago and panicking it got lost as it was out of my sight. The story could go on however, right now, I feel improvements. Not being back 100% as I was, but the direction is the right one. Fingers crossed.
What can I do for antsy thighs instead of calves? No pain...just antsy...need move and flex for relief, and usually only on the right side. "Sometimes" punching the affected area works.
Nope
How can I start my own business as a CEP and what is the minimum equipment that I need?
My brain fog spiked after 3 years. Any idea why ?
Update: It typically occurs at the nap hour, and if you are in an environment whereby the room conserves heat too well, then the best approach is to do a before nap time workout routine of your choice for an hour and also remember to keep the dry air out during the summer the best way you know how or winter time using the thermo control with the "fan" control setting on "auto" fan setting simultaneously and not "on". Dry fan air will dissipate at auto setting, and it's good for the lungs when you do your workout out in your room at night before bed. That's my conclusion and cure after 38+ years, too. It seems that at this age, it is the gold standard age experience I've noticed. Human evolution wasn't meant for energy saving high-tech rooms, which trap dry air in rather to the contrary outdoor experience. Who even gets cured off of restless leg syndrome on a couch rather than outdoors doing stuff and then napping in the forest somewhere. I am serious about this. It's a cure on my behalf in every season of the year and counting. My time for a workout is at the 12 mark to 1am. It is cold outside to open windows and dangerous too. unpredictable too if you live with your loved ones.
So far, so good, and a disclaimer is that I have a thermo unit that includes a humidity control setting involved together with heat or cold or circulation setting for the comfort zone level prefered setting to the RLS free threshold and it is 55 percent humidity only at nap time. Do not confuse this with portable cheap humidifiers, which all have a whole different configuration which need water and is not good for individuals with pre- existing medical conditions or cause mold. ❤❤ I turn it back to 45 percent humidity setting at the daylight hours.
Thank you. I am in my 3rd month daily shoulder injury pain after a fall. You really helped because this may be a 12 to 24 month healing process, naturally.
Great explanation. Thank you. I just underwent shoulder surgery after 4 years of trying conservative treatment. My surgeon and PT have said it will be a long recovery. Thank you for this informative short to the point information.
Thank you very much!
How long shoulder impingment takes time to recover? Its been 3 months no recovery
Exactly the same for me , mines since November, hurts even when sleeping
My pain has gone and all range of motion ok but that minor feeling of impegment still there. Its been a month so far.
Good video. I had covid April last year and having problem of cognitive dysfunction and slowly better and as you presented. Fatigue is more problem now
This worked for me last night. Thank you.
Will these work for day to tingling a numness in right arm It's mostly when I just sit down and start not when i'm sleeping
Trying this tonight and will update in the morning
*promosm* ❗
I’ve suffered from RLS for years. Tonight I’ll give this a try. Thank you.
Helped???
It is not brainfog it is brain damage
long covid since Nov 2020 and sadly no improvements yet. 32 months and my long covid has only continued to worsen with time.
Oh bummer sorry to hear.
I am so sorry... I am in the same situation. It is quite distressing and I empathize deeply. May we all be healed.
@@amynatalia2609 thanks. The last week has been particularly rough
@@scarclaw72 I am so sorry. I wish you to get well soon. You are not alone
Great. But not everyone has gym bars in the their house!!
Then you could stand on the low step of your staircase, with only part of your foot supported. Rise up, then drop back down, lowering your heel below the step..
I think its inflammation for me. I've got inflammation in all joints - just come on recently. I'm going to follow Clint Paddison Program to relieve it
These exercises work really well. Thank you. Pins and needles and arm numbn3ss were driving me crazy at night and I get it sleeping on my side and back. This fixed it within a few days and when it comes back I revert back to the exercises
'promosm' ❗
The shoes look great! Really nice colour 😍
I know, but hard under foot
I can't think of anything I have that I can do the calf raise that lowers the heel like yours. I do stretches on tippy toes. Any suggestions on how to get this elevated stretch result with maybe household things?
Hi Sharon, do you have a step anywhere around your house? Otherwise a wide paver, or brick or even a few pillows on top of each other.
@@accelr8rehab stairs, yes. BTW, I am also 11 weeks post total knee replacement. The restless legs and need to vigorously giggle them has made my knee pain worse. I will try using the stairs. Thank you for the suggestions.
Sound quality atrocious, .....Needs to escaped and repeated!
Apologies
thanks for the tips!
No problem!
It definitely helped my shoulder pain! I highly recommend it!!!
Great to hear!
Cramps and RLS have nothing to do with each other and have no common cure. This is not simplistic, it is misleading and wrong.
Took pain away for bout 1 min then as usual the RLS comes back. I wish u knew what RLS feels like mate!
Thank you Accelr8 Rehab! My friend was really tired and cranky yesterday because she hadn't slept due to restless legs. I have sent her this very practical video and she'll let you know how she goes...
Wonderful!
What is that you are standing on ....I don't have anything like that in my house.... what else can I use
I get rib cramps what can I do sometimes leg cramps or my toes
Thank you. Looks easy and simple and tonight is the trial night. ‘👍
Helped??
This is absolutely magic! So simple and effective. I am 77 and have tried many things but this is the best.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I use vitamin B Complex and other minerals and it works quite well; I will try this simple exercise as well. Tank you very much.
Thank you very much.
Thankyou can’t wait to try this tonight I had restless legs for years but this year every night ,thanks a head of time .

Potassium is missing from this treatment. Only thing that finally worked for me.
M from India, will try it tomorrow
Great thanks for watching
I bought that book, but it doesn’t really tell you how many times to practice for instance, how long do you practice NO.1? When do you start doing NO.2 ? Etc. ?
Thanks Logan, yeah I think it is a personal thing. Thanks for asking
Thanks! Doing it now!
Haha Nice
That's great, thanking you🤗
Thanks glad to help
thanks..🙏
After three horrific days with no sleep due to RLS, I tried this last night and ... slept through the night with no discomfort. I don't know who you are or what your qualifications are, but you helped me when doctors couldn't. Thanks!
Glad to help my friend, the key is to keep going.
RLS includes achy feelings in your arms as well. Cramps are not the same as Restless legs syndrome. Your exercise suggestions may assist some of it but I don’t think you have a good understanding,of the condition at all.
I agree. If you don't have it, you have no idea. Been suffering with RLS for over 40 years.😢
Good info thanks , but you have to speak louder with confidence.
This is exactly the kind of awkward exercise advice I needed, because I will not do stuff that confident people tell me to do! Thanks, I hope it works for me tonight.
haha thanks Michelle, I think!
"Crap it open" hahaha nice ! Great review, hello from Brissie.
I suffer from RLS and have been doing this exercise, prior watching this video, with positive results. Not a cure, but I am able to sleep without the disconfort. I also wake up less cranky.
The B/S meter has just maxed out! RLS and Cramps have nothing in common! Unless the cramp is located in the leg, then they have legs in common. What's next, 1 Minute to ease Menstruation and Bloody Nose? They each involve blood...….
Thanks, what do you do?
