Are the refills on these Kaco similar to Pilot G2 style refills??? Can these refills be used in signo/pentel energel/pilot G2, etc??? And is it waterproof???

I have I think 15 fountain pens now and some are worse than others as far as nib creep goes. My Pilot Metropolitan has the worst nib creep on it. I have other pens with that issue but I assure you it's pretty normal. Love the review, I'm thinking of buying this pen since it's pretty and its nicer loooking than the Compass and cheaper than the Pro Gear Slim, both of which I have. The line on your page being thicker might be due to the paper you're using. I have a sailor in Fine and one in Medium Fine and I can't really tell the difference but yours looks significantly thicker than mine does. It looks more like a medium or broad maybe, so I'd try new paper.

R they waterproof?? Or atleast hold up to a good amount to water?!?

I have also started dappling in fountain pens... also inspired by my hobonichi this year lol. I got the Muji fountain pen, it looks like a regular pen, its really no frills, but it has a really nice fine tip and is really affordable at like 16-23 dollars depending where you shop. I have been looking at sailors, but this it the one that would be in my price point and like you said there are not many videos. I like the point of view of your review, it really does show my use case perfectly...and I don't think I will be purchasing this one. Thanks again, and happy planning!

I got the same one but hasn’t arrived yet. Also having issues with filling the dailies but I ordered a kin or A6 avec to try for work as today I have the hobo cousin for all and it just too much for work to do’s… so confused because I also got a weeks hahah. Interested to see what you will end up doing and please share your layouts for inspiration!

Thanks for the review - the Procolor/Shikiori line is a great way to test out Sailors without jumping straight into gold nib territory. The Vanishing Point is made of brass, hence the weightier feel. I also find I get a lot of variation in line width on the VP EF nib depending on my writing angle. In my experience, Japanese nibs tend to be ground to suit a more vertical style of pen hold.

Are they refillable?

That's their pro color line, which always has some form of four seasons.

They copy lamy colours.

If youre looking for a REAL extra fine nib with about the same weight from Japan, idk what your budget is but the Platinum 3776 comes with a Ultra Extra Fine for ~$160 or so. I used to have one, loved it but im saving up for the same nib in a more expensive version that caught my eye. God bless!

I was looking to buy these, wasn’t sure which box to go for, your video helped. Thank you. In the green box the colour you gave the name rose is actually looks like a Burgundy to me.

I detest the people that buy multiples of those cover on covers and causes them to sell out on the website and then try to resell for $30 or more. It’s disgusting. Not saying you’re doing this but ive been trying to get one and the resellers are horrible for taking advantage especially at this time.

The little spoons don't come with the Weeks or Day Free planners, sadly. The extra tabs are for the sneaker Weeks specifically, because they don't come with the ribbon bookmarks.

Hi thanks for sharing, the sticky tabs come with the mega, I assume so you can separate all those extra pages better and the little spoon comes with books you did not get. Thanks why it's not in your box. Looking forward to seeing how you set them up :)

This is the first video of yours I have watched and I'm excited to see more! I found it so helpful especially the reusable folder, I'm a massive penpaller and I've just been storing all my stickers in mismatched envelopes in a cardboard box under my bed. you've motivated me to get organized.
