I still hate how they gave us a minigun within the first hour of gameplay. If they actually made it an endgame weapon, I’m sure they could have gave it a higher fire rate. But since they handed it to us like baby formula, it’s gotta be balanced.

Skibidas miniguns redux are the only miniguns you’ll ever need. There is zero comparison or competition.

Power Armor Hud looks much better then vanilla Power Armor Hud

The old school paper bullet minigun with a fire rate that represents gatling gun, not a minigun and with an unnecessary delay firing is just abomination. It should shred anything even deathclaw or behemoth and doesn't delay with a freakin high fire rate. But in fallout 4, even a pipe shi* gun with full upgrade and modification would obliterate full upgrade minigun like wtf? Even most of legendary effect cant save this big pile of shi*, only the exploding or maybe two shots.

Because that would be, you know, fun.

TBF... If you played the game as intended with this minigun... You'd run out of ammo after 2 minutes... You'd spend all your time buying up all the ammo instead of playing the game.

The minigun short got me to watch this series. And this series has me thinking about another playthrough.

To be honest, the only authentic minigun experience I've had in a game is in Medal Of Honor Warfighter.

Honestly with ammo weight, this would be perfectly balanced. Crazy high dps in exchange for the most absurd ammo economy of any weapon. Pack a backpack full of bullets so you can pack an enemy with that many holes. Bethesda just doesn't do good weapon design

You get the minigun at level 2 and "surprise," you suck with it. Build some experience and take a couple ranks in the Big Guns perk and you are competent with it. The gun isn't the problem, the player expecting to be instantly amazing at everything is.

I'd love to see a minigun with thee ammo coming from some kind of back pack. I really hate when games put that giant mag under the minigun.

I feel like the avenger minigun in new vegas struck that right balance between absolutely wrecking most enemies while not being game breakingly overpowered. The alternate ammo types were cool too
