For me, it was the time that my father was playing with the Christmas lantern he bought. He was like a child just turning it on and off, smiling as the lantern changed its color. That's the first time I saw him as a human. He was a drunk abusive father.. but I guess at some point in his life, he was human...

Ours had a Santa face were the nose was a button but it was these same exact songs . We would all fall asleep in the living room with all my siblings and cousins and it was the absolute most peace I’ve had in life … it was bliss ..

The memories that I have with these lights hurts me... my childhood was abusive in every way possible... I never had a childhood that I can look back on without stumbling into memories of the pure misery I experienced as a kid... The only happy memories I had was christmas that was the time where I never had to worry about being beaten or tortured... I return to these nostalgic sounds because I am reminded that I am not worthy of a happy life as even as an adult, I'm still suffering from my childhood... I still feel like I was meant to spend my first half of my life suffering and the other half spent coping and spending all my energy to cope 😢

Many nights spent falling asleep to these sounds as a kid. If anyone knows ones like them, I'd loved to know where I could get a set.

Id sit in front of the tree and have the whole lineup of songs memorized, staring at the light show. Thank you for uploading this... I wish I could go back and find what happened to these lights.

I had a set that played sounded exactly like that one. Mine broke years ago. My step mom still has one that works for the most part. This is definitely my childhood

I have a music tree which plays these songs in the same notes, funny enough. It’s been part of my life for over 20 years and for many more to come. I’ll have this precious item up to my dying day
