Thank you! I will be reaching out to retailers when I complete the next run of this module. The first one was very small. I am hoping by the end of the year.
For future reference, would you ship to the UK?
I am not planning on doing direct UK shipping (I don't think you'd want to pay the costs anyway) but I am planning to get my modules into a UK retailer in the next 3-6 months if all goes well. I hope that is helpful!

Guessing this isn't coming to the VCV world if it's analogue? I think there's a few M/S processors already, I'll have a look as this gave some great ideas (filtering the sides separately for example). I'd definitely go for the 'full headbending stereo effect', that was fantastic 😂
Glad you're getting some ideas! Not likely to do a VCV version of this since the space is already a bit crowded. The Fundamental library already includes a great mid-side module.

Hey Nick! I’ve had my warp core for about a week and a half and I love it. It’s such a cool module; really deep and incredibly varied in the timbres it can produce while being extremely straightforward to navigate. Just wanted to say thank you. I’m an aspiring audio software developer and having physical modules to work with is my favorite way to really learn and understand synthesis concepts and techniques. I’ve been interested in phase distortion since I first tried to figure out the warp modes in Serum years ago and Warp Core is a beautifully elegant and easy to understand platform for exploring it. Thank you for making it.

Warp Core is built on the Daisy platform from Electro-smith which is using STM32H7

Nice! Will be giving that a try on the VCV version. It's already one of my favourite VCOs in Rack 👍
As cool as that would be, the "crush" mode is not available in the VCV Rack version currently. However you can get similar results by running the output of Warp Core through any number of sample rate reducer modules to deliberately alias it, then modulate the Warp amount on the "Fold" mode.

a few weeks ago, alm busy circuits posted a video on instagram of an analog phase distortion patch with their tazm o oscillator. i mimicked the patch in my set up, and i was trying to figure out why the resonant sound happened only after i modulated the vca at an audio rate. but it clicked for me in this video, it only worked because it was a saw wave, and it was shutting out the reset sound from the sync modulation by closing the vca. so damn cool. i wanna get this oscillator now, im on a phase distortion kick lol

Awesome, one of my favourite oscillators in VCV but I'd never thought of using it for acid bass like this. Just tried it with the virtual version and it sounds just as good! Great job, cheers.

Cannont believe how excited I am for this, and even more grateful for thr throrough peek into dev & behind-the-scenes! 🫂 I also haven't yet taken the plunge into hardware modular as I'm dedicating time to research & planning first-although I'm no newbie to hardware gear or DIY-but I've also been thoroughly pleased with the VCV version. And as someone who's been building up my knowledge/experience in DSP & hardware synthesis design (a carryover from my love of hands-on DIY building & design/hacking/custom-modding/firmware-dev in my other hobby; mechanical keyboards), this stuff has been immensely useful. Would love to see your personal workflow & tricks in the _CAD/schema+PCB-side of things in a synthesis-specific context! I much prefer the idea of DIY building as much of my rack & gear as possible (I have a toddler at home so the "savings" are just a bonus 🙃), be it for custom personal module design, or just modding/upgrading simpler DIY kits. Still have tons of learning - my CAD experience mostly went into keyboard enclosures/mounting designs in Fusion and simple PCB modifications on others' open-source designs. Either way, this thing is sounding INCREDIBLE at this stage & just wanted to leave some support! Wicked psyched, now just hoping this'll be in my budget.

Yes I definitely took lots of inspiration from the UI design of Plaits but that's where the similarity ends for the most part. No actual circuitry or code from MI, just design ideas.
I got my hardware module yesterday and I'm having a blast playing with it. So many different configurations and possibilities. I'm sure you are busy getting out orders, but I hope you'll have time to do a new tutorial video sometime soon. Especially to cover some of the stuff you didn't get to in this video.

I am definitely going to be working on some new videos as soon as I complete all my build/fulfillment work :) I think I am going to go the route of "recipes" type videos where I demonstrate some of my favorite sounds and discuss how to make them, rather than a feature-by-feature linear overview.

Yes, the hardware version has a bunch more features than the VCV Rack version :) they may make their way back into the plugin eventually

That is a Daisy Seed and it is creating all the audio. Everything happens there.
Just Fantastic! Here’s some feedback- How about motorized faders instead of knobs so they can be controlled by a computer to move at different times thus creating an evolving soundscape? Great work!!!!!!
