I have Klinefelter Syndrome, and after extensive research, I chose Dr. Schlegel to perform my Micro TESE surgery in 2020. The cost was $22,500 in New York, while most surgeons typically charge around $5,000. I was willing to pay the higher price because of Dr. Schlegel's expertise. I wanted to trust the results of my surgery, rather than risk using a local surgeon and potentially questioning the outcome.

Puberty stalls in XXY boys, so how can they have an "after puberty" before they get testosterone therapy? Puberty is the maturation of the reproductive system and XXY men, most of them, are never fertile, puberty never completes. So, what do the researchers mean by "after puberty?"

I guarantee, if someone studies ANY group predominately of males more XXY's and XYY's will be found than in the population at large, simply because they are predominately male. So police, fire fighters, military, security guards, all will have the same proportion of XXY and XYY males as prisons and psychiatric hospitals.

Looking too young was a major problem for me, I was still looking too young after I was married. I'd been on testosterone for years and still had not developed as other men typically do. It was blatantly obvious to my Endocrinologist that I was not ageing properly, yet he did nothing. He was waiting for me to complain, him asking me how I felt was not a social question, he was asking a medical question, and I was not answering properly. The tendency for the medical profession to treat with low normal testosterone is a bad choice. Testosterone should keep increasing until these males show they are responding physically, in my opinion.

Interesting. When I was in my second job after leaving school my so-called "work mates" hid my tools, so I couldn't do my job, and they thought it was a great joke. That was the same job I was at when I was forced to have a medical examination where Klinefelter syndrome was diagnosed. I had no idea a medical was part of the job interview, and I was waiting for the confirmation of the tests I had when I walked out on the job, because my work mates hid my tools. I still cannot think of any other possible action I could have taken. It was a factory and complaining to bosses was a "no no". The employer noted on my record, "do not rehire" which was shared with all the other like employers in the country, so that was "do not rehire anywhere in that industry ever again" which became a major problem, and would you have thought that could have been a possible consequence of my reaction? Back then KS, in all the library books, as library books is all I had, said all men with KS were mentally retarded. I wasn't mentally retarded, and I wasn't coping either.

As a 65 year old, I was told of my diagnosis in January of this year. When I was diagnosed with gifted ADD about 20 years ago by Dr. Grace Ketterman along our son, my mother denied my diagnosis. She said that our son had it because it obviously came from his father’s side of the family, but she refused to acknowledge that there was anything wrong with me otherwise, but it was such a relief to me because there was a physical reason for me being the way I was, not stupid. Later I was diagnosed with clinical depression and I struggled with that for 4 years. Now how do I tell my 90 year old mom about Triple XXX? Will she deny that too? Probably, like she denied the ADD and pigmentary glaucoma that I was born with. Nobody’s perfect. 😊

I can see the other side of this -parents grieving that they will never have natural grandchildren from their children and perhaps that’s why they don’t tell. I’ve been pregnant twice. The first ended in miscarriage and the second, our son came a month early. I went through infertility testing. Mom went with me to the endocrinologist. I was to be tested for Cushing syndrome, but my mom persuaded the doctor to test me for something else because she wasn’t getting any grandchildren from me, so I was diagnosed with PCOS instead. The exclusion thing, I know it well.

I had a hitch somewhere between my ears and brain when I was in elementary school. I had a hard time taking in what the teachers were telling me to do, so they recommended to my mother that I should have a hearing test. I had one and passed it with flying colors, then my mother was angry at me for not paying attention to my teachers. As an adult, I was diagnosed with ADD along with our son by Dr. Grace Ketterman. I can see now why I may have had trouble. It's still my weakest skill, although I love music!

I'm 65 and was given my diagnoses of Trisomy X in January of this year (2024) by a weight management doctor. He was looking for a gene for a medical study - PCSK1 and in addition, I also have an ALMS1 gene. I have a rare eye condition that I was diagnosed with several years ago - pigmentary glaucoma and I have an extra body part - L6 in my sit down and the crooked pinkie fingers. I hope some of your videos will help me understand my conditions better as part of the Triple XXX Syndrome.

I just found out 4 months ago that I have klinefelter, and I'm 45. Interesting is that I went to fertility doctor a Dr.Seaman in 2017 they said I had low t, never said anything about klinefelter. So he put me on hcg to see if I could produce sperm. They even suggested cutting a slice of testical tissue to see if they could find any live sperms,he couldn't give me a high % success, so I opted out. He never put me on trt. It wasn't until my endocrinologist Dr. Vywich that I was going for mounjaro for weight loss. I'm 6'2" stocky but I've always struggled with weight. I would go to the gym everyday, so I'm rather strong, but I platue around 225 in bench and similar results with other exercises no matter what I did. I sustained a miniscus tear, and I really packed on weight. I was 395 lbs about 1.5 years later. I'm 280 lbs but still have a pear shaped despite eating healthier and being at a deficit. Dr. V suggested a genetics test and said I was diagnosed in 2017. I was besides my self to say the least, kind of furious, actually, that no one explained anything to me. I'm now on Trt. I do 100ml a week, but split does 50ml Mon and 50ml on Thursday since trt has 7 day half. The split help with up and down effect. This has been life changing. I almost feel like my body is growing with growing pains in shoulders. Sleep improved, I never had terrible libido, but it's def up. No anxiety, no depression, I still have ADHD can change that, but I feel it has some what stabilized. I have better focus and motivation. It has been life changing. Besides you tube, I'm not sure what I should be doing or what my experience with trt will have on my body. Most people that talk about it are diagnosed younger, so they grew a semi normal rate as other boys there age where an doing it at 45. Not sure what expect. I'm 45, look early 30s, married, own a catering company so I've done well without trt but it has made me feel whole. I've always felt like something was missing. Can you give me any material on what I'll be experiencing. Sorry, I know it's a lot. 😂 I'm just seeking some knowledge

This descriptive is more about psycho/social behaviour. Capacity at the time of the crime in the UK is what decides whether a person can be prosecuted. I was diagnosed before I was born with XXY and did sports throughout middle school and high school but wasn’t able to grow much muscles just a bit of abs. It wasn’t until I got Covid that I went down in a spiral. Asthma came back, coughed blood from time to time, got diagnosed at 20 with osteoporosis and declared infertile. At 21, Lost health insurance. a few months ago got checked out for a lesion in my mouth that was found to be either herpes or cancer. Got ruled out of herpes from blood but no cancer; doctor couldn’t help me and I could get TRT. During college for DQ from the military. I have a degree in criminology but can’t get any jobs in government. Policing I can try but I’m probably going to be disqualified. Attempting police academy soon, but we’ll see. If I get disqualified, I’m going to try to go for 911 dispatch as I got licensed in high school. If I don’t. I’m trying to get certifications for cybersecurity but no luck with jobs. Programming now. But I’m trying. Soon I’m thinking about taking my life as I have no opportunities. I want to give my family and friends closure but I know I’d have to do it in a way that no one knows where I went. But idk. No one may ever see this. People don’t know I’m struggling. I can’t do a career I worked for all my life.

I didn’t find out that I had Trisomy X until I took one of those ancestry DNA tests (I think it was 23&me) and then I also had it confirmed through a genetic screening done by my doctor. I have ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, and depression. I was also quite tall for my age as a kid and started puberty a bit on the earlier side, but not that abnormal. I also had delayed development of speech and motor skills. There’s not much information online about this genetic syndrome so thanks for posting this.

As an XXY that was forced down the GIC route, I have to say from my own experience GIC's are not the place for XXY's for the reason, they don't understand our minds, nor our endocrinology. But until there is better consideration for non male identifying XXY's, GIC's is all there is and there are massive years long waiting lists to contend with. Ffor it to stand, male identifying XXY's are being treated better than non male identifying XXY's through their easier access to hormone therapy everyone agrees is beneficial to the XXY.

I've had a lot of health problems that were mentioned, even though I have Trisomy X in only 1% of my cells. I may also have chimerism because on my right side, all of my organs seem to be bad, but not my left side.
