I started my locs (still installing the two-strand twists) b/c I kept being invited to dinners, and outings and my hair was always in an "old twistout" b/c the style doesn't last long. So my active life meant I'd need to do my hair more frequently... which took 6 hours end-to-end. Wash, detangle, style, dryer, then remove the twists the next day. My fiancé booked for us to attend an event but I was so anxious b/c I wasn't consulted before he booked the event so I was like... I literally don't have time to do my hair before the event. I can't go. That's when I came across Keke.J's latest loc pictures and immediately made up my mind. No more missing out on life and not being there with my favorite man b/c of my hair.

3yrs seeing this for the first time. Love it! I'm 2 yrs into my journey and for the last 2 months, I only use shampoo and conditioner. No products whatsoever and I wash my hair once a week. My scalp seems cleaner and not flaky and my shoulder length hair is lighter and fuller. I cover my hair with a silk cap at night occasionally spritz with a little water in the morning when I don't have to wear a hat. I like your advice and your locs are 🔥🔥🔥!
