    Awesome video! Are you 100% sure its a Micro and not a Mini (Add-A-Fuse)?

      Thank you! Yes, I'm positive - I messed up initially and purchased a mini and it was too big

    I hardwire same dash cam to my jeep. Do have parking mode on? Do you have issues of battery draining after not driving for at least 48 hours?

    • @Jess_Do_It

      Yes, I have parking mode on - I've had it on since installing and have never had issues with the battery draining

      UPDATE!! I had dash cam for more than 3 months now with Parking mode ON and I didn’t drive my jeep for 2 weeks and no issues with battery draining. Thanks for the help.

      Do you mean the micro add-a-fuse? I bought mine off Amazon - just make sure it's micro and not mini

    Awesome video. i loved the detail that you provided. I am looking for a camera for my JL and this hardwire method looks really simple to do. Just wondering, do you still recommend this dash camera or would you prefer to go with another model? Thank you in advance. ~ Joe

      Thank you for your comment, Joe and thanks also for subscribing! The quality of the videos are really great (super clear), and would still recommend it for that reason. My one and only gripe is that I can't view the footage from wherever I am as you need to connect with the camera whilst in the vehicle. The cameras that do have that option are considerably more expensive. Let me know if you have any more questions or need help with your install. Cheers and happy new year!

    Thanks so much for the tips! However, I believe the orientation of the constant power tap is wrong. I’m in the process of installing the same cam on a wrangler and the “hot” connector when you remove the fuse on F43 is the driver side one. The outside blade of that tap should be connected to the “hot” connector. Which creates a new space problem. I was thinking about using F94. Again, thank you for the video.

      I haven't responded in a few days as I was trying to remember why I didn't use F94 - there was a reason, and I just can't remember. The way I installed it hasn't cause any issues whatsoever since. It's tight when you shut the fuse lid, but I've used duct tape, and the lid remains closed. Good luck with your install! It's nice to have the option of viewing drive videos when you want to!

    In the middle of this install right now and when you use F43 with a mini adapter, the fuses now sit at a 90 degree angle and are over the lip of the fuse box. How did you close up your fuse box with those fuses in the way? 5:49

    • @Jess_Do_It
      @Jess_Do_It 10 месяцев назад

      I was contemplating cutting a slit in the lid of the fuse box but ended up just using duct tape to keep it shut. If you're able to cut a slit just big enough, I think that would work - I'll probably do that next summer

    Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It’s been a few months any issues with the fuse locations you’ve used? Thank you

    • @Jess_Do_It
      @Jess_Do_It 11 месяцев назад

      No issues at all! The lid doesn't close all the way, as the add-a-fuse wire sticks out a bit, but I just duct tape the lid closed, and all is good 🙂

    i bought the tap fuse mini ats for my jeep fuses but the fuse is hard to enter the tap and it doesn’t come out i don’t know if there is a problem in the tap that i bought or it’s regular

    • @Jess_Do_It

      Is it micro fuses you purchased, or just mini? If mini, they are too big, and you will need micro

    • @Jess_Do_It
      @Jess_Do_It Год назад

      No, I didn't try that as there's no malleable section there to tuck the wires under - it's all hardtop. I found this was the best way!
