2k needs to make a hockey game , they dont even have to put real teams , just fake teams and make it as sim as possible , people will buy it over EA's shitty arcade interpretation of hockey...2k released the best sim football game and still is the best football game till this day all pro football 2k8...that game had fake teams but it dont matter the gameplay was simulation football, i will take a sim hockey game with fake teams over an arcady hockey game with real teams anyday of the week

That's wild, I never bothered upgrading to the next gen console and haven't really played since 2019? 2020? I don't even remember now, I used to play this game like 12-14 hours a day. It's wild some of the things that made me go insane back then STILL haven't been fixed lol.

NHL 24 is so Bad im playing nhl 94 and 2004 ..way better games than the current ones

Got this game for free on PS plus last month. I really wish I hadn't. Managed to get a 91 overall team in a week, yeah, but they can't score on a 78 goalie with no energy half the time. I had a game where I had 30 shots and no goals against the cpu. They took 5 shots and got 1 in. I'm getting interference penalties for skating into other players. The AI trips players hits them for boarding penalties. I hold L1 to block shots, and the cpu runs over my stick and trips for a penalty. I try one poke check, tripping penalty. I even got a slashing penalty for taking a wrister, and the stick brushed against a player. I've loved hockey games since NHLPA 93 on sega genesis. NHL 07 was the last one I played until now. It's so sad how the older games are more enjoyable than these modern-day overcomplicated cash grab bs sports games from EA and 2K.

I play Franchise mode so it could be cool if they actually made it feel like you are a gm in the NHL not the same crap that we have gotten for the past 6 years

Love this video. When I say this game sucks this is what I mean. I bought the disc version of 24 and actually snapped it in half and threw it away. You’d think I was losing but I actually won 6 games in a row and I was just so pissed how terrible the gameplay is. I’m in my twenty’s and I’ve only owned hockey games. I’ve never played other sports games or call of duty and the list goes on. I’m officially done with this garbage game and selling my console because I know it will never change. It’s sad but I’m so done with EAs game that was fun before Covid but just has gotten worse every year it is released.

Get a friend, get off the computer, play 1v1 with said friend, stop crying about rewards, stop spending money, and just play hockey. But I agree ea hockey games suck. 2k was the best. 2k8 is still better than the new ea games. Just breathe, it’s a video game. Go outside, go play real hockey or road hockey for Christ sakes

I'm saying the same thing across every next NHL game video.. the truest and most sincere wishlist item we deserve is a canceled game and the end of yearly releases. We are conditioned to expect a game every year and expect it to be buggy from start to finish when it's life cycle expires in 11 months after release. 2-3 year release

My gameplay suggestions: - Like you said, tune high danger chances more likely to go in, and low danger chances less likely. - Add a new offensive zone strategy for 5v5 and Powerplay -> "1-3-1" - Increase the likely hood of One-Timers going in - Get rid of hitting with the joystick (sucks when trying to shoot from getting a pass and you end up taking a penalty) - Dramatically increase five-hole goals... like by 200%. In all my games I've only been able to do it twice from a far. - Make unexpected shots have a higher chance of going in, especially if the goalie is screened. Would love to get a pass on the red line from the point, and just fire the puck shortside low into the net like Matthews or Draisaitl (if my shot is 95+). - Get rid of total-control passing for chel. Bring back skill for passing. - Add overall limit to HUT teams. Now I got a sick team, but it just seems weird to have 99 overalls up and down the lineup. Let 99 cards feel like stars by making players distribute their overalls around the team to balance and strategize within an overall limit, and then the 99 cards will be among 90s, 85s, and 80s. Sort of like how ability points work, but for overalls.

They should at the end of every month for 1 day have every card from that month available to pull in packs just like what they are doing now to keep people from quitting the game

The one thing EA desperately need to do and could do. Make packs worth grinding for. I ahave been done with brings SB, Rivals, Champs, moments to pull at max and 84 two months into the season. It will never happen simply due to their financial model being built around pack sales. I am very hesitant to buy 25 for this reason knowing it will be the same as 24 minus new card art. What’s the point?

Different upgrade packs every week, increase pack weight and increase rewards, revamp the MSP model to place the highest event cards in packs as opposed to the MSP to give life to the market.

Glad you’re back, but I just have to say. You shouldn’t get rewarded for not playing the game as much as someone else so I don’t understand why it’s okay to ask for cards to just be easier to get in general. You can’t just have every card in the game be worthless, you get that right?

I hate to break it to you, but I can guarantee this game is as good as it's ever gonna get, the developers don't care and all they do now is feed the previous year's source code to chatGPT with the prompt to update it with slightly new features, and that's what they're gonna do for the foreseeable future. Humans didn't really write much of this game is was done by a LLM(Large language model) like chatGPT and the devs are encouraged to do it because 1. It saves EA a lot of money 2. It allows EA to produce games much faster and 3. The devs don't have to do much and just straight up chill at work and get to take 2 and 3 hour breaks. It is what it is.

EA Spork NHL 24 is trash. The UI is trash, as always. The store in Chel is trash, it takes forever to load one item at a time. The battlepass is just a pop up ad that takes an hour to load after nearly every game. They broke it a few years ago, and they murdered it for NHL24.

IT's all EA, biggest piece of shit company in the world! They're incapable of making a real hockey game and can only make stupid bullshit games! It's the same every year. I win most all the games but still can't stand all the BULL! The games are 95% bull and 5% actual hockey. Who the hell in the NHL has magic sticks that go thru your legs so they can keep driving to the net.Who the hell weighs 600 pounds so when you try to hit them you go down. Who the hell in the Nhl gets the puck back 99% of the time when you poke it away. The list goes on and on and on. So much bullshit that if you stand on top of it all you'd be looking down on MT. Nhl20 was way better than the crap nhl24 has
