This is some footage of me learning how to play realistic. Put 350 games in the SU-27 and really got to know some tactics. If anything seems like a dumb idea, it probably was. I was still learning haha.

This reminds me on Tom Cruise in Top Gun and Top Gun: Maverick. He is a very skilled pilot and i think he would be impressed with your flying abilities. This is because you display a skill in aquiring targets and keeping an eye on threats. this reminds me of goose and his son rooster (played by Miles Teller). in conclusion i believe you can translate these skills to real life and aerial warfare. but to be complete honest....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... was this recorded before the missile fix patch? the Derby is SO MUCH BETTER at longer range now, I'd recommend giving it a shot, but it stills works perfectly with this playstyle
yeah this was with base fox 3 update
after the missile fix, they basically completely reworked the Derby/Darter, it has a 27.5 degree loft, however the loft is way smoother, like the AMRAAM's, so it actually extends it's range, instead of eating into it. it's drag is less, it's max fin aoa is higher, so it turns maybe even a little better than before the fix, and overall, it's just way better than it used to be

Which is the best premium jet in War thunder? I wanna fly jets instead of these old boring planes, i am rank 5 and i have about 50 hours of test flights in jets so i mostly know the basics of flying right now. There is currently a summer sale so i am looking for the best one, with the best missles and best flight performance. Could you help me? Same with helicopters, which helicopter would you recommend to me?

at only flying rank 5, buying a premium jet would be rough but i have seen it done a lot. Several of my friends bought the premiums and suffered for like 100 games until the kinda learned how to use radar, and how to position etc. My favorite premium is the bison (but it isnt on sale) I also love the f-4 premiums. they work well but are hard to fly. the mg23 is still fun but the speed retention nerf hit it hard.
Buythe f1c from france, i think is the best tree this year, and a good Jet to learn and grind

I see you prefer salvo fire to holding the fire button down, any reason? Ik to each their own but I'm curious and I find it more convenient to just hold it down.

just a normal one, i have kuznetsov on slava and kremlin. the captain perks are concealment expert, super intendent, surviability expert. then whatever you want. For mods you need the coal mod upgrade that boosts the radar time by 20%.
