Hi!
My name is Angel Yang. I’m a tubist from Sydney, Australia, and I started playing the tuba in March 2022.
One reason why I started to play it is that it’s a unique instrument, and not many people play it. Also, I conducted some research and found that the tuba is the ‘best brass instrument’!
After playing it for a few days, I fell in love with it because of its rich, resonant sound, and I seemed to naturally play it without too much difficulty.
I decided to create this channel to help others learning the tuba to prepare better for AMEB exam. When I was preparing my exam and looked for examples online, I couldn’t seem to find many helpful videos. I don’t want this to be the same problem for other tubists. So, to everyone out there beginning to play the tuba, I hope my channel will help you to play at your best!

It's best to listen to this video with headphones on to maximize the sound. Also, here are a few notes about Bordogni 1! Since the triplet predominates, be careful that [dotted quaver semiquaver] doesn't become [crotchet quaver].
