What I really need is detailed instructions in how to use the Oticon Intent 1 which has just recently been released. The Oticon videos were made by professionals who seem to be insensitive to the actual user and all of the things that the user needs to know to operate them. A video lasting minute or two or three just isn't very helpful. The short videos produced by Oticon are rushed and explain next to nothing. I've had my hearing aids 13 days now now and in spite of experimenting with the app and reading through the instruction manuals, I still have no control over the volume, either with the hearing aids themselves or the telephone app (I have an iPhone XR). The streaming volume is usually too low to hear well as well as being uneven. I consistently can't hear streaming from my phone with both ears at the same time. Today I couldn't understand anything from a podcast while on the train (light rail) with the ordinary noise of the train passing over the train tracks. The clip-on device seldom works although I have read and really tried to follow its instructions. And I paid $6400 for my hearing aids and accessories. I don't know whether these problems are persistent technical glitches or is there just a lack of available workable instructions to users or both. I hope to find out more when I see the audiologist again, but why is there no actually helpful information online? I've found a variety of lengthy reviews of the Oticon Intent, but none provide practical instructions on how to use them. Finally, the Intent 1 controls are complicated. You perform different operations by holding the same buttons different numbers of seconds. The varieties of colors that come on for the different operations are confusing. I suppose I sound stupid to folks who work with these every day, but I doubt that I am much less sophisticated than a good proportion of users.

Why do hearing aids come with a carrying case? They’re either in my ear or in the charger. Who carries then around?

believe it or not some people travel and use it to take their charger with them.
