I live in an HOA and need to replace our roof. The HOA rules/By-Laws state that the HOA only allows tiles roofs. I have been reading that the State over rides the HOA rule as far as restricting any other type of roofs. What can I do to approach the board and explain that I want to replace my roof with a metal standing seam roof. The reason is we have Solar Panels and the application is much better being the panels get attached to the 1 1/2" seams avoiding any drilling into the roof deck. I heard some bad things about Waterleigh such as the new multifamily units being built at the beginning of Waterleigh and 1,400 affordable housing units next to Hartzog. All these multifamilies are creating a lot of traffic on Avalon road. I live out of state and I visited a few times. So basically the overpopulation of the area without the infrastructure to support it.

Can someone help me understand , so you’re basically getting a loan up to maximum of $35k , BUT you have to pay it back when you refinance or sell home. Sure an extra $10$-35k could be nice but still have to pay it back. Not sure I like this

WE HAVE A COMPANY TRUCK THEY TOW IT IF I PARK IN THE COMPLEX WHERE WE LIVE ITS A UTILITY PICK UP TRUCK CAN THEY NOW STILL TOW THE TRUCK EVEN IF THE BILL IS PAST AND IF THEY DO WHAT DO I DO. WHAT I DO KNOW ITS THAT THEY NEED TO NOTIFIED ME WITH A HOA NOTIFICATION BEFORE THEY TOW IT.
