How much hp can u get out of c12
There are some C12 that go up to 505 HP (never seen one personally), but there are some expensive mechanical modifications that would be necessary for you engine to run that program. I've seen 455 HP max.

@@manuelmolina5943 Significa que el motor necesita algo de atención. Generalmente, debido al alto kilometraje, el motor está cansado y necesita mantenimiento. Aunque también podrían haber otros problemas...

La funcion del egr es tomas gases de la combustion (escape) enfriarlos con agua , con un radiador intetno enftiar gases e ingresen a la admision. Generalmente al.fallar el egr se rompen las cañerias interna y se pasa el agua a los gases y de hay a la admision. Sisntomas que falle perdida constante de refrigerante.
Se me olvido comentar que me a pasado en 2 camiones y en ambas oportunidades los saque y se llebaron a reparacion. Le cambiaron los tubos internos del egr
Must be different in the US version. In Europe these Mercedes no longer have a dipstick. By the way, this engine is the same as the Detroit Diesel. A real improvement. The old Mercedes V6s were terrible.
The engine shuts off when the hydraulic light on the dash comes on.

I don't have experience with diesels but I noticed the ruckus inside the coolant tank. Did you open the oil cap to see if oil was spraying out of it?
Hello, yes. You will see in the video that we open the oil cap just after opening the coolant reservoir cap. No oil spraying out and no blow by.

I'm looking at a 2006 dt466. It puffs out smoke like blow by. How normal is this. When I called International dealer he said it's probably a crankcase breather clogged?
Common on these engines, especially with higher mileage.

Nah the air ones completely disconnect. It looked like it had some blowby when he took the oil filler off though lol

It`s not a "twin turbo". It`s called a compound turbo.
It’s still two turbos…just because one is bigger than the other doesn’t take away the fact that there is 2 turbos…2 turbos are still a twin set up they don’t have to be the same size or even look the same, what I’m really trying to get at is stop being a jobsworth arsehole and correcting this guy when it is a ‘twin’….the compound is the system not the turbos, get it right know it all!!!
@@johnsharkey1980 Not trying to be anything or correct you. just making a comment. The term "twin turbos " refers to an engine that has 2 identical turbo chargers mounted on independent or "split exhaust" manifolds, Engine shown has compound turbo chargers.
