What about creating a money league?

I was in a league and when someone went afk and it auto picked, sometimes it drafted people on free agency. I’m starting my own league now and want to make sure that does happen in mine. Any idea why that happened or how to change the setting if there is one?

Question. I assume the keeper picks have to be someone that is actively on their roster and not someone they picked up on the offseason. (I don’t mean like personal league rules regarding it. I mean the app sleeper itself.) or could I just manually set up who their keeper is and it will lock. The reason why I ask this is because In my main league we just swapped it over to a keeper league but with an added bonus and twist: you can only keep rookie players for an additional 2 years and to determine who gets what rookie is dependent on if the rookie was drafted AND what your final seeding is after playoffs are over. You can then pick a rookie off of anyone’s team that drafted a rookie. All depends on your final standing. I then will do a small 2 round rookie draft so everyone picks their keeper one at a time and then finally I’ll add them to their roster to be their keeper if that’s all I have to do for sleeper. I’d I don’t need to. Then I’ll manually put in which rd they will be drafted in. Additional context it’s a rookie keeper with both off and def players. If you got any questions please ask me.

A couple questions for ya. Can I adjust everyone’s FAAB money weekly or no? For example I was looking to add a risk/reward feature where if let’s say you win this week you gain $10 but if you lose you $10. Are there any special roster spots like how there are on ESPN. So for example is there a KR/PR roster spot? I assume there is also a score metric for kick/punt return yards on sleeper. Oh one more question. If I allow one keeper or two in my league and they trade it away for two draft picks. How does that impact the draft since there is only X amount of roster spots and rounds to draft in. Would the guy who has the 2 extra draft spots finish drafting sooner and would the guy with two less also finish drafting sooner but without a full roster? Thank you for all that you do.

This is great thanks! My only question is how do you manage draft pick trading throughout the year? Say someone took Jefferson first round, but they traded their first round pick for next year. Does that negate them from keeping Jefferson? Or how do you chose which round your keepers are set in?

How do you take out the kicker position and put in another position

I'm literally watching this to figure out waiver settings, and homeboy goes "nah, too complicated bruh." Does anyone know if there is a video where I could learn how to set up the waiver settings? We drafted, waivers have been locked ever since, and I want everyone to be able to start putting in their waiver claims in on Sunday 09/03/23 and have waivers clear 8am Wednesday 09/06/23. I also want every player from the KC/DET game Thursday 09/07/23 to be locked until the following Wednesday (and continue that pattern all year for the Thursday night games.) The app only says "players stay on waivers after games until Wednesday 8am" on Monday and Tuesday. This app is kind of a headache to get the settings set up the first year you use it. We just switched our league to Sleeper this year. Basically, we want DK roster and scoring (plus kickers and our own kicker scoring) and nfl.com waiver settings (except no adds until Wednesday 09/06/23 and waiver priority is in effect prior to the first game of the year, then after week 1 worst team has 1st waiver priority.) HELP!

Anyone know how to add Injured Reserve spots?

It won't let us add teams to the Divisions. It's stuck with 4 teams in Division 1 and 3 in Division 2. So 7 total and we have 10 people. Any thoughts on how to fix the Divisions? Thanks

I am trying to set up a 32 team, 4 division league. Is there a way where the same players could play on multiple teams? With 32 teams in one league the talent get watered down quickly.

Not sure if you can answer this question. But if I set up my league as a IDP does it make my draft set up as dynasty for its rankings even if I have my league set up as redraft? Also IDP can be fun but id recommend people start out with 1-4 spots if they want every side of the ball in a fantasy league. Tho I do agree that if it’s your first league you probably should not do IDP unless you know how to do the scoring

Hi! Great video but I do have a question. I'm switching my league over to Sleeper and going to make it a keeper league for our first time. How do you pick the style in which players are kept for next year? Ex: If we want to make it where like if the player I drafted in third round is the guy that I want to keep, we want that to cost me my 3rd round pick next year. Is there a setting to choose how that works?

The one and only thing I hate about keeper is they don't have a "Head to Head" option for end of the year tiebreakers which totally sucks. Great every other way though. Not sure why they just don't add that common option. Most if not all other leagues have it.

Thanks! This vid was helpful. We just finished our first season with Sleeper, and were switching from redraft to keeper. It seems keeper doesn't have some of the settings that other apps have. I think I can manage manually inputting everyone's keeps. Do you limit the amount of seasons a manager can keep a player? If, so how do you track that?

Why do you select your keepers to different rounds? Why not just put the keepers in round 1 &2?

I used FantasyPros for years and did well but the past few years, not so good. However my first pick after keepers was Breece Hall and I was doing ok till he hit IR. I am keeping him for next year just in case. Does Footballers also give you start/sit? Or do you have to look at rankings and figure it out? Also, do you know of any fantasy bsseball other than FantasyPros? Lastly, have you tested Rotowire? Thanks. 👍
