This worked for me today on my Nordic track EXP 10i Treadmill. I cleaned up three ribbon cables with a white eraser pen; as I was doing so a lot of dark tarnish kept coming off. I use the electrical cleaner afterwards. Before doing this fix, my speed button was not responding, as were some of my other buttons. After doing the fix, everything seems to be working fine. I'm having this issue with a star Trac pro recumbent bike I bought on Facebook. If I start really slowly it will work but as soon as I pick up speed the pedals stop spinning the wheel and the power cuts out. Same issue?

It almost worked. When i reclip he ribbon its not working but if jiggle it around it has been working. Not all he buttons work though, How can get my treadmill back to 100%? Video definitely helpful. Got me at least running the treadmill again..NordicTrack solaris 4400R C2270

Explanation in your videos would be helpful . I would like to know what you are thinking as you make adjustments . When to move the front rollers instead of back?

Oh man..!! Another great video...!! I just got my E7 sv, used of course, and have been watching your videos. My console numbers are all blurry and missing, and the buttons don't seem to work. I'm hoping this cleaning process will work wonders..!!! On to the next video..!!

ummmm, so I noticed you were able to move the ramp up and down. Mine doesn't move like that. Right now the resistance doesn't work, and the console seems to be dead to the touch, but when I tap the iFit buttons it makes noises. Think the console buttons are dirty inside? Nothing seems to work, and the numbers are kinda bleeding...maybe the console is just old and needs refurbished? I don't believe the machine is that old though. I'm ordering a new resistance motor off eBay. I may buy the console too. For now, I'm just using it as a jogger with no resistance. It still works pretty good. The ramp is currently stuck at about 15%, which gives a fair workout. In summary, I'm hoping a new resistance motor is the issue, but then again, it could just be bad console buttons aren't triggering the motor.

Not listed on the parts either. Any suggestions? Pedals were a bit wobbly so I thought it would be similar to a washer, but can't seem to figure it out??

Great tutorial!! Step-by-Step with no missed steps. Perfect!

They come with very cheap bottom brackets (referred to here as crank bearing). Replace with a Shimano or Sram Bottom Bracket. Take the one off your bike, bring it to your local bike shop and ask for a replacement. Will save you a bundle as well.. many places are selling replacements with the NordicTrack part number for 100+ dollars. 30 bucks a at a bike shop :)

My clunk-clunk-clunk noise appears to be coming from the flywheel assembly. Where can I buy the clutch bearing and other bearings for a Schwinn 270 recumbent bike? They want me to buy the entire flywheel assembly.

I watched this program about the I fits treadmill X9I have one. It's not the I fit loop was just on it. I bought one of these chips as soon as I placed the chip in. There was some writing came on, and then all of a sudden, the machine became blanked out nothing when I took the chip back out. My machine is not coming on. It's just blacked out and my isn't fit. Loops, nothing is coming on anymore. Please help me.

Was the harness you replaced called the cylinder speed sensor? Part # F030185?

I have a nordictrack 2200r. My problem is the touchpad. It is an intermittent problem in that either they all work or only a few buttons work. So would it be 100 percent dirty ribbon cables? I ask because mine look clean to me. Could it be anything else if after cleaning them anyway, and yet the buttons still dont work? Thank you.

how much does the track weight once the base and top portion is remove? we have the opportunity of getting this treadmill for free, the catch is we have to get it out of a basement

went to turn on my 2450 used it the night before and nothing on the no power to the screen no fans no movement dead in the water. console is completely dead but the treadmill does have power to the controller looks like i need a new controller>?

I have an annoying squeak when I run directly in the center. If I run up high or very low on the belt there is no squeak. Any ideas what is causing this squeak? The belt is aligned and rubber feet on bottom are in great condition.

I just did this repair and there is no need to remove the handrail or the base of the console. Just remove the back cover (16 screws) and then disconnect the one connector and ground wire and then all the fasteners on the back of the console. There are three on each side, 2 each top and bottom, and the four bolts on each of the two metal brackets.

I'm looking for a treadmill and can get a good price on a NordicTrack 1000 but the main motor is reported as faulty. Can the motors generally be serviced or must it be replaced? Are they expensive or are generic options available? Thanks

how do you lift out the battery compartment? Is there a button to press. Mine separate a little but something is holding it in.

Just know that you are bringing so much joy to a 8 and 10 year old today when they get home from school. Got a C990 3.0CHP for free. After all the work of getting in the house it did not work. I accidentally deleted the IFIT app but I still followed your instructions and it works. This is after being on the phone with client care for over 1 hour. I cannot believe that they told me it’s discontinued and can’t help me… wow how is that customer service? You are an amazing person for doing this video. Thank you!
