Hi There, I have been following your channel very well. Your channel video topic and quality are very good. You can take your channel even farther if you want. Skinny kids that think a degree make them good trainers/athletes. Sports science gets dumber each year. Most of these people writing the peer reviewed papers couldn't lift my dick.

Let’s take the clean, and make it useless and stupid. Introducing, the clean jump shrug

@@mattisfaction-9 ask any weightlifter. Any real weightlifter that can clean twice their bodyweight or more, and they'll tell you...jumping and keeping the arms straight like this counterproductive to the lift. If your feet lift, it should be the result of inertia. Don't jump. Slide your feet. Don't keep your elbows straight. The inertia of the bar will cause it to travel away from the body if you keep the elbows straight. This is basic, first day of weightlifting technique.

@@mattisfaction-9 Oooh a post grad in strength and conditioning, look out! Matthew Spence is coming to break record's with his post grad degree. Well I just met with world and Olympic medalist Dmitry Klokov last weekend to work on finer points of technique and getting strong as fuck. Somehow we missed the clean shrug jump. I'll be sure to text him and let him know that Matthew Spence said to add it to his method. God knows its what's missing from the clean strength progression.

@@mattisfaction-9 Fact is, you need to learn what your degree is for. You don't make people strong. Your job, if you ever land a job working with athletes with that degree, is to maintain fitness and ensure they don't get injured. Remember that before you have an athlete worth $12 million doing power clean pulls and jumping as high as they can...I promise, when he rolls his ankle you'll be out of the job.
