Hello JennyBoyce, thanks for your comment and for sending us a message 😃🙃. Yes, prices for food are very reasonable in Tolo. You will find very affordable restaurant options and more upscale options also. In case you will be staying in an apartment, you can always do groceries at one of the two markets we mentioned. We felt there were slightly better options for groceries on the way to Nafplio, at which point a car would be recommended. Not sure if you plan to visit around Tolo, if yes then a car would come in handy. Well, the uphill road that leads us to the village of Talasnal is quite narrow, but we believe it would be possible to drive there with a camping car, especially if it's of medium size camping car. However, it might be challenging to park upon reaching the village since the parking area is not very spacious. You can actually see the parking area at the beginning of our video - ruclips.net/video/p7zjhkw8sIA/видео.htmlsi=7CuNW8pfpRsq3Hot&t=48. But there are some Camping around the Schist villages, maybe you could contact some of them in order to get further information about "Camping cars" ... here is link as suggestions - www.jetcamp.com/en/uk/historical-building-or-site/talasnal-schist-villages/. The place Nossa Senhora de Fátima appeared to the 3 children is called "Capelinha das Aparições" or "Chapel of the Apparitions" in English, and it's located in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, we showed it in this part of the video - ruclips.net/video/Q1Wt2S3VlhQ/видео.htmlsi=0t0C-tlyU6l_zbnK&t=375. When you get to the Sanctuary, you will see the Main Church and just outside you already see the Chapel where usually lots of people are praying the Rosary. It's 3 minutes walking distance from the Basica. You can also get further information in the Oficial Website of the Sancturary - www.fatima.pt/en/pages/places-of-the-apparitions. Hello, hope you are doing well. Unfortunately we are not totally sure if there is a public transportation direct to Talasnal. Also depends in which region of Portugal you are, we believe the easiest way to get to Coimbra first, where you could go by train from Lisbon for example, and then find out a public transport to get to the village of Lousã, and after you are in Lousã they could give you further information in how to get to Talasnal or nearby villages by local public transport. We still believe the best way of visiting Talasnal for visitors is with a rental car, then you will be able to explore more the area and villages around, but getting to Coimbra they could also help you out with further information about public transport for sure.
