Connor Manion-Quiaoit wrote this piece for the Sacramento Master Singers to premiere in April 2024. Connor wrote the piece to encourage people to “hold onto hope”-it can provide us a path through the dark times. Premiered April 2024.

Thank you!! COVID has made it hard for any of us to be able to say "I lived" during it's pandemic. COVID has kept us from much that life has to offer, keeping us in, covering us up, and distancing our hugs. Thank you for this tribute to all the grads of 2020 who chose to keep moving forward. Their optimism gives us ALL resilience, knowing we all can follow their lead and keep moving forward, adapting and growing! Your singing is uplifting!
I love this!!! Great idea to record in such a beautiful setting, the Sierra Nevada's, our beloved mountains that make any one want to sing!! How on earth did all these formally dressed singers hike up to that area? They do not look out of breath. Looking forward to more of Master's Singers (Sacramento style).
