I found the song later, the song which got me into bass was Little Green Bag by George Baker.
Super rare bass u got there Glove. I still have a poster of Cliff Burton playing his Aria Pro onstage during the Master of Puppets tour. I was 16 when Cliff died. Three albums of the most creative bass playing that my young ears ever heard. Big misfits fan also because of Cliff. I dig your cover Gloves! Well done

is not the intro a distorted Hammond B3?
no one truly knows factually what was used, there is only speculation. I believe there was some kind of distorted organ in the rough mix but also I heard bass at different octaves was also used. IMO the intro has a number of instruments at different settings etc to create the effect
@DirtyGlove It's both bass with leslie and a hammond organ. Proven by the session tracking sheets which can be found in the book from MOP's deluxe box set.
@SammyTheOrange wasn’t aware of this being confirmed until now, cool stuff if true. Edit: I also remember hearing that the bass as well as what I previously said was also layered at different speeds, in reverse etc

I noticed the Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen. That's what I'm rocking to record my drums tracks. I just put a 2way XLR splitter in each input and we're recording drums with 4 mics. Appreciate the vids, they really help learn some songs on the bass for my recordings. Cheers!!
