Regulations across the globe differ widely on which style of backflow preventer is needed so we leave it up to the installer or homeowner to select the correct item to comply with their local regs.

Yes, the return line will create positive pressure but it is extremely unlikely it would be enough to cause issues or prevent filling.

Hi @lucasusbr36 The water comes from either a dedicated fill line or a hose. For northern climates, we recommend using a hose connected to a water spigot so that the system can be winterized. In either configuration, the water supply feeds into the pool plumbing system and negates the need to have a hose across the pool deck.

Thanks for your question, Cole. We used a 1" male NPT to 1" male standard hose connection. We also recommend installing anti-backflow prevention or check valve.

Hi @kims9898 - and thanks for your question! LevelSmart meets all electrical codes for commercial pools. However, there is no NSF standard for autofill systems, so that doesn't apply.
