Просмотров 354Год назад
This is the first video in a series I will be doing on how I am developing my backhand (my lefty forehand) over time. In this video I am analyzing a set I played against my friend, Ravi. This is the second serious set I ever played with this racquet. I started using it about 6 months ago, but training seriously the past 2 months. Want to support Hartmann Tennis? What's up with the skinny tight shorts?
This helped tho thank you!!!
Appreciate you! Glad it helped!
You gotta increase the size of those shorts 😂
As the wife, I approved these shorts. I am actually trying to find a shorter pair 😂😂

Right, now I just need to learn to hit it in, then I'll be sorted!
Lmao, you got this, keep at it!!
Is this a joke?

Such a high quality 4 minute vid. Good job
Appreciate it!!
God I hate those racquets. Such a dumb gimmick. Kudos to that guy for learning to play so well with it but that thing is stupid. Not practical on many shots - low forehand volleys, body serve returns, serving in general, volleying balls hit directly at you. The balance of it is also very strange.
this channel has a big future, i cannot wait for future content
Appreciate you, glad you enjoyed!!
can you explain the techniques to use 2 handle racquet?
It’s the same as one handed! Just the angle is different so takes getting used to!
If you need a hitting partner in NC, dm me! Those are my home courts!
well played bro
Appreciate you!
You are so beautiful
Thank you 🙏🏻
amazing story pro tennis play in the making!
Appreciate you!
Next up winnersonly
Lol!
You should try and be a pro tennis player. I believe in you man! This will be a similar story to Karue Sell and Jules Marie. Would be crazy to see you at The grand slams or playing against sinner or alcaraz
Appreciate you! I need to find more time to practice!!
very well filmed. Did you use AI to tell this story? It feels generic but well told.
Thank you! No, just my first movie like this, was hard to make but I think I learn a lot and will improve the next ones!
wow this is really well done!!
@@isabellahartmann80 thanks!!
Wow, I love how you tell a story.
Thank you! 😊

@@irondirectprimarycare9440 😁😁
what city do you teach in?
I’m taking a break from teaching right now!
The problem is how much time you have. A swing volley is good if your opponent gives you a slow ball
For a low ball, doing a half-volley with the forehand and backhand works best!
Is this guy an idiot. At any above average level you aren’t going to be able to swing volley with the pace it’s coming at you. Not to mention this guy looks like he has never played a competitive tennis match in his life Lmaoo horrible advice
Lmao I played #1 singles and doubles at Florida Tech, and the swingvolley is something I developed while literally playing college tennis. Why? Because it works
Too much room for error if you use the swing volley on a ball hit with pace at you tho
Scam everywhere.
@@VanHaycrafttd no
I did not mean you are a scam. Just trying to express the fact you have to play tricks to win a game instead of being more powerful & more skilful.
@@VanHaycrafttd I agree some things are a scam, like grunting too loud when opponent is hitting, ect. But knowing when to move up and back in the court to strategically throw your opponent off guard is just veteran tennis, really. Plus being able to hit an aggressive return of serve far up in the court does take a lot of skill to pull off. Federer did an extreme example of this with his SABR move. And it's not something lower players might even be aware of!

I love this swing on a lob, you can create so much top spin that the ball’s second bounce is really low and opponents can hardly return.
literally!
Too fast , i coldnt remind .
You can pause!
Most annoying commentary
Thank you
Tennis is a sport of a lifetime. This video will help keep the interest in a great sport of a lifetime.
Thank you!
the most simplified answer to my confusion❤
Glad to help!
Can you tell me about that racket? What's it for?
It’s angled so it helps me keep my wrist my straight/neutral, feels better on my wrist!
Do you use two overgrips or just one?
Just one.
Bad bad bad. Not good advise for before training. Muscle looses strength!!
Haha wrong
Nah wtf is that racquet 💀
Advanced level
Cap bruh ain't knowbody at orange bowl uses thst
The words "beginner" and "strong" shouldn't be used in the same sentence anyway. Obviously continental grip is ideal, but for a lot of beginners they couldn't even get the toss right and the timing to hit the ball even with Eastern grip. So it's a progression and will take many reps before they feel confident enough to serve with continental.
Gotta switch to correct serving mechanics as soon as possible
@Hartmann Tennis Yep definitely. At least need to be able to slice first
I haven’t seen that racket since Brian Battisone used one.
It’s def tricky to get used to
I tried this and killed my partner
Haha practice with dummy’s first!!!!
pft he still went across his body
Yes, when following through one ends across the body, as this is how you complete a natural throwing motion. This technique is for when you make contact with the ball!
Love it! Great stretch guide. Reduce injuries!🎉🎉🎉
Yesss!
das Tutorial ist gut, aber verstecke bitte dein Unterhemd.
Ahh jaa danke ich hab vergessen!
Wow those are good stretches! How long did it take you to do all those stretches in real time though? I guess a better question is how long to hold each stretch? Usually I don’t have a lot of time to stretch before a match 😢. I tend to just show up and start hitting. Lol
So actually prematch you don’t need to hold for long! I would hold for 3-5 sec, switch to the other side, then repeat, at least one more time. Running through head to toe pre-match, can complete quickly in about 2 to 3 minutes!
I can’t be the only one wondering what the heck kind of racket that is-
Haha the racquet is not even in this video 😂

So helpful!
Thanks Belle!
Are you kidding ??? How many times do we see the women pros ( who uses lots of SV s ) miss them at crucial stages ?? Low margin of error - takes much more energy - a crazy shot in many cases
That is a misconception, it is actually a much safer shot, and higher chance of winning the point
