Hello! Thank you so much for sharing this video! My friends and I are planning on going the northen way of St francisike you did! However, i was wondering if I really need to wear the hiking boots or running shoes would be ok to walk on the course? From your video it seems like the most of the roads are flat-ish (?)

I am in the initial stages of planning my Camino Portuguese starting mid April 2023. This will be my 5th Camino, the first four were the Camino Francis. There are not that many RUclips videos showing Lisbon as a starting point. I have attempted to listen to you tell the viewer where you stayed, but I cannot decipher the last name. I got VIP something. Some of the videos include comments and show where they stayed, which is most helpful. Unfortunately so far you have not done that. Nor did you say the name of the small village where you spent the night. Or how many kilometers you walked yesterday. Maybe in future videos you’ll have a bit more information of the type that I seek.

I made 1000 grams of kielbasa today. After the protein extraction in the mixer, it was pretty sticky. I was impressed with what I was doing. _....all the way up to the time when I started to use the kitchen-aid sausage tube!_ *WHAT A PAINFUL MESS!* The easiest part was when I pushed the last of the sausage through the tube. *WITH MY FINGER.* Needless to say, I bought a Lem stuffer after I was finished. I would love to have 5 minutes with the person who designed that plastic attachment!

Lovely and such fun to watch. I love the combination of photos, video, print and narration. Seems like you stayed in hostels/hotels along the way. Is that right? Is it possible to tent camp?

The first time I did this I had the water flow too high. Using two hands to open the casing the water shot it, the casing expanded really quick and with force. The casing came out of the bowl and proceeded to go down the drain. Now using one hand to hold onto the casing, I turned the water off and proceeded to pull about 7 feet of casing out of the kitchen drain. It was one of those what the (I leave the last word to your discredition) moments. Re assuming my composure I decided to use a new length of casing and the rest is history.

I love how people use a mixer to grind up meats but then they use their hands to mix the seasoning in. Hello it's a mixer people just grind it into the mixing bowl and goto town. Geez......

I was waiting for you to use the horn that comes with the KitchenAid. You totally cheated! LOL... I made my first batch of sausages using nothing but the KitchenAid and while the grinding portion went well, the stuffing was a total PITA!

Hi Martin, Thanks for posting both of the videos from your trip along the Way of St Francis. How did you find the signage of the route compared to the Camino Frances? Look forward to your next trip on the Portugues.

Thanks for this vid. I had been planning to do the Camino from France a few years ago but due to some back and hip issues, I could d not do it and still don’t think I could. But even though I am a big fan of Portugal I had not considered this route until now. Thanks for the inspiration. Even if I don’t make it, the video gives me a nice feeling. Happy Walking.
