I heard this album some 20 years ago and it completely turned my world upside down. Disturbing and BIZARRE. Admittedly, i always prefered unconventional to familiar. If it comes out of left field, i'm all in. I love that $#!+

One of my faves! And there’s actually no guitar! Suicide were a duo, it was just one guy (Alan Vega) singing and one guy (Martin Rev) playing a keyboard with a primitive drum machine providing minimal percussion, and that’s it! :3

Enjoyed this very much including the spoilers, having seen the movie twice now. This reaction is full of spoliers, which as I said, I enjoyed. But folks who haven't seen the movie should avoid this reaction until they have. Out of respect for your potential audience, ou should have Spoiler Alert in the video's title.

My favorite part of the movie is in “one short day”, when Kristen says something about singing out, Ariana is standing next to her and starts to sing.. Kristen quickly reaches over and covers her mouth.. I was DYINGGGG

I also like to think of the emotion of the line "I can't want it anymore." Is more than just her dreams being crushed, but her realizing her own worth and desires far surpass her "dreams," and she is taking on this weight that she knows she has too because that's who she is. She is becoming her true self and accepting herself rather than chasing a dream that she can never happily have.

It’s so cool to see someone reacting to this album. It really changed how I perceived music and what can and cannot be done. Another album I recommend is half alive which is a live album, I find it gives you a good feeling for what they were like live.

My perspective of Ariana’s portrayal of almost realization during no one mourns the wicked. Is to me it at least on screen looked like she was realizing she is also wicked and has been abandoned “goodness knows, the wicked die alone.”

4:08 I mean, Glinda does eventually get rid of the wizard and Morrible. Maybe it was just hard to do it while Elphaba was still around bc everyone was rallied against her instead. They didn’t really show that in the musical, so idk. I guess it’s way more clear in the book that Glinda does eventually actually bring good change to Oz after she arrests morrible and the wizard flees

I think the penny rolling up the walls inside refers to behavior an addict exhibits when they no longer have their drug.
