hey man how do you bypass the IR select from suhr reactive load ir so it just lowers the volume from the amp going to the cab? Thanks
@@ripperthecrooks6428 it doesn’t work as an attenuator, just a load. So you’d need a power amp to reamp the signal back up. In that case you’d be able to crank an amp and control the volume.
@@Echoplexi. I just want to really attenuate the volume from my cabinet when i'm playing so I get the good tones with less volume so I would need something like a Fryette Power station to achieve that ? Thanks for the reply man
@@ripperthecrooks6428 yes, that would work well
Massive , inspiring sound
the clean tone is nice, but that distorted tone is too mushy for my taste. nice video nonetheless :)
What ohms are the cabs? 16 Ohm cabs work good with it? Loud enough for playing with a drummer? Sounds Good!
These cabs are 8 ohms. I think you could use 16, but it would be quieter. With 8 or 4 ohms it’s Definitely loud enough to use with a band.
@@Echoplexi. Thanks!
Awesome tone, are you the Echoplexi from thegearpage by chance? Dig your posts, peace from germany :)
@@NERDOFUNK thank you. Yes, that’s me 🍻
Intellifex does no distortion ?
No
Holy shit man huge
Thanks!
killer rig and tones!
Thanks!
Dream rig! Awesome playing and killer tone!
Appreciate it!
Just getting your hands on 3 of those is pretty cool
🌞
👍🏻
They sound too close to bother.
theres just something about the big box that hits the spot isnt there?
Yep, I love it
Right on!
Sounds great! Did you get the customized version? If so Which options did you choose? I’m thinking about buying one. I mainly use humbucker guitars through Marshalls
The external bias control is very handy and I like having an led too. My biggest recommendation with Sunfaces is to tweak the white internal clean trimpot until you like the sound with your rig. It’s very helpful imo
@@Echoplexi. Thanks for your fast response! I was looking at getting the LED and still am thinking on the bias knob. I do wish I could try one out before buying it but they seem to retain their value so that is a plus! Thanks again for your help and rock on!
My Germanium Fulltone '69 has the same Internal trimpot.@@Echoplexi.
What pedal board is that?
Pedaltrain classic jr, I think
Damn that sounds good!
Thanks! 🍻
@@Echoplexi. You're welcome!
Is that a real vintage burst or is that a custom shop gibson
I wish it was a real vintage one. It’s a 2004 ‘58 reissue
Still pretty cool though dig the grovers on the headstock
Damn this really makes me miss mine.
Thats it,..😊
🍻
Yeah buddy
Can you tell me about your signal flow? Do you make mic-ed signal before effects?
This is: -Main amp loaded down with Suhr Reactive Load -Line Out from Suhr Reactive Load to rack line mixer input -Delay and reverb set 100% wet in parallel in the line mixer -Left and right outputs of line mixer to left and right inputs of stereo power amp -Left and right outputs of stereo power amp to two speaker cabinets
@@Echoplexi. I see. So you bump up the amp head signal and give stereo effects and send them to the TR power amp and speakers. Like EVH. wonderful sound. Thanks
Black night! I have that pedal too.
Sick tone man!! You have a dream for a rig!
Thanks!
You have amazing taste sir....thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
Hey there. I go by denkst on the gearpage. We have touched base there before. Sounds so balanced and clear. What speakers are you using in (1 or 2?) in the cab(s)? Love your channel btw.
Ah, cool thank you. This is just through a single EV12L loaded 1x12. I think they work well with these amps
👍🏻😎
Sounds killer man, love it! Is the 2290 in front of the amp or in the effects loop?
Thanks! The 2290 is in the effects loop. I have it patched in through the line level XLR input/outputs, so there’s no signal loss and there’s actually an increase in level.
They sound fantastic!
This tone reminds me of David Phillips at LA Sound Design…. Great tone man!
Thanks!
Sounds good. What other pedals are you using?
Thank you. Strymon DIG, Strymon Flint, Analogman Mini Chorus
Sounds very good, complex and expressive.
This is for me a Rock&Roll Sound !!!!
Nice! Question about your IR-X; Do you just use your volume knob to get a clean sound or do you just run dirty?
Using an attenuator?
Suhr Reactive Load and a power amp to slave
Great sound- nice playing, too.
Thank you
Man, that sounds so great. Reminds me of the Premier Guitar opening riff on their vids.
Now that’s all I hear haha
A nice treat to see one of your videos today. Great sound as always
Thank you 🍻
George Lynch's favorite cab! 💚🎸
Echoplexi what song are you playing in the beginning? Rings a bell
I was just messing around
@@Echoplexi. Sweet. Reminds me of Sabbath
I live both versions for different reasons. The '72's were more full sounding. The '78's were 'snottier', but in a good way. I could see using the '78's as a V30 alternative. Actually an improvement IMHO.
I prefer the early 1970's Fanes. To my ears, the early 1970's sounded smoother.
Hi 👋 thanks
Damn, your tone is spot on.. as is your playing.
Absolutely amazing tone. What pickups in the LP?
Thank you. These are custom wound Wolfetone Legends. A5 magnets, low output. I think 7.3 on the neck, 7.9 bridge.
I have the Fulltone Tape Echo and have compared it to digital delays, including the El Capistan. The Fulltone is miles better.
A real tape unit is amazing
Thank you for the comparison. :)
Thanks for watching!
It’s a beast
Freakin awesome
