Derbyshire Cricket Foundation is the 'governing body' for all aspects of recreational cricket in Derbyshire. We are a not-for-profit, company limited by guarantee and our remit covers:
•Running the player pathway that develops talented players and run the county teams for girls aged U11-U17 and the Women's 1st XI
• Supporting the 127 cricket clubs in the county with advice on coaching, funding and running their clubs
•Training and resources for coaches, umpires, scorers and grounds men
•Working with over 120 schools providing free cricket coaching to both primary and secondary children
•Running affordable, high quality cricket courses in school holidays for children typically aged 8-14 to develop their interest and skills in the game
•Encouraging adult participation through Last Man Stands (2 hour, after work games) and into clubs.
