Hey Alex, I love the diversity of your videos and as an upcoming Product manager, here's my contribution to the improvement of your channel: - Contact slide would be more effective at the end. Viewers have already gotten value from your content, and you're now targeting those who are truly interested in potentially reaching out to you since they made it to the end of the video. As it currently is, I don't know why I'd want to reach out to you since I haven't started the video to see if I even like it. - Animation would help captivate user attention and engagement. Even if it's watching you talk on half the screen and having the presentation slides on the other half would already make your content more visually stimulating. Right now, the slides are half stock photos, half useful content. Animation of your choice should replace the stock-photos to avoid the dreaded powerpoint presentation. - Lastly, it'd be great to hear your personal opinions, stories from your long tenure in the PM field intertwined with your advice.

Great survey of the good and the bad! I think that one about "changing meaning" not only is very professorial and la-di-da, it's totally wrong on its face. Many industries are disrupted without the meaning changing, due to finding new understandings of market problems and innovating effectively (e.g., all the examples in Clayton Christensen's The Innovator's Dilemma). The quote I hate the most is "if you can't measure it, you can't manage it." Often attributed to Peter Drucker, who of course didn't say it and totally wouldn't agree with it. Sometimes it's attributed to Edwards Deming, who also would disagree totally with it. And certainly for product management, it's really helpful to fundamentally understand that we hardly know anything for sure, and we often have essentially no data.

Thanks for this valuable insight, Alex! Gotta keep on growing, and for those of us who are working from home, there's ample opportunity to stay personally (as well as professionally) productive.
