I'll never tire of watching and listening to this video. And I plead to any incredibly shy individuals in the world with this kind of talent, to summon the courage just once to show it to the world. That he was employed at Wal-Mart in any capacity is incomprehensible as his talent needed to be seen and appreciated. I hope his singing career is still going strong.

He is the best from 2012 to 2022
He over did it because for the remainder of the season he didn't really out do this performance. This was like "the voice" audition. Too much. Less is better as you can tell by his tone and his voice he had a unique tone and range so he shouldn't have went full out like that.

He’s got a great voice and he sang with all his mind and soul and heart he’s got it he’s gonna go places very handsome man should I say blessings to you brother
if I had a penny for every one of these talent show contestants that are told "Youre gonna be a star" that are UNHEARD FROM less than2 years later, ...and have "official" youtube channels with less than 12-15,000 subs, after 2, 3, 5, 10 years later, ...I'D BE RICH! Try it yourself, ...go to the YT channel of someone that was told "You just changed your life" or "Youre gonna be a star" , ...that you thought, at the time, "surely they WILL be a star" ...and see how many subs they have. The reality is, we can probably count on 2 hands, the number of people who have had ANY kind of ACTUAL SUSTAINED SUCCESS from these "talent" shows over the last 20+ years.
This was 2012 and as of today he only has 37k subs on his official channel. Not saying this wasnt one of the very best vocals EVER, because it truly was OTHERWORLDLY, but all these "talent" shows, over the last 20 years have only produced about 3-5 names that anyone can remember ....Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood are the only 2 I can remember
