    I have a AC8010. 4wd , powershift, it is underrated. I pull JD 220 fold up 20 ft disc that I used to pull with JD 8430 articulated. Not fast,3.5 mph, but steady. I have JD 4230, White 2-105, both nice tractors, but if I could only keep one , the AC8010. It’s underpowered for its size I suppose,at 13,000 lbs. but my other tractors won’t pull the IH 720 16inch semi mount unless perfect conditions, AC will pull in 2 wd ok. Every make is good if not overworked for intended use. It’s my go to tractor.

      @@fierbaughcattlefarms981 That would look cool. There is a gas station that did something like that in their office. The display starts and then winds around the room...it changes a bit but it looks better for it. My storage has a glass front. I have been setting odds and ends over in the windows for the last few years. Someone commented that the window area really has a lot going on. ( I don't remember the exact words, but it was a positive ) I think your loft shelf is going to really look classy after a bit. I used to keep all my tools behind drawers, and doors. Everything was out of sight and locked away. Now I tend to display as much as I can...and nothing is locked up. The risk isn't it being stolen...the risk has been not enjoying every moment while working.

    I loved farming with my 1155. It was fun to take loads into town. When I throttled down it governor would hunt and the green guys would stare at it. I'd tell them, "Look out, she's gonna eat your's up."

  • @DavidNeal-2891

    Love the more but mine was skipping grass as well. I stopped at 4:43 to right this and so far i haven't seen anything tall enough to make it skip like that. Bad boy mowers are great but what I've noticed is their blade speed isn't that fast so I measured my pulley at 6 in, bought a 7-in PTO clutch from Amazon for about $89 just to try it and sure enough like all the others I've replaced PTOs on it helped it and doesn't skip any grass at all. I did change to a high lift blade as well to help clear the shoot and suck the grass up into the blades better than factory. These are great mowers just their slow blade speed kills them. Mine was a 6-in pulley on the drive / engine with 6-in spindle pulleys which is a one-to-one ratio. Hustler, Ferris, etc I'll use a slightly larger drive pulley to up the blade speed so they don't miss grass

    Don't you know the reason you have a rollover plow is so you never have to roll furrows down hill.

    • @fredjaeger2766
      @fredjaeger2766 8 месяцев назад

      The reason to have a rollover plow is that you go back and forth on the same side of the field .some rollover plows are easier to use than others if they are hydrolic
